Without Vista 7 wouldn't exist. 7 is very similar to Vista, so I'm not exactly sure where your logic comes in. I'm not gonna argue about it though cause i could care less.
No problem, it's easy enough to do. I chose Vista because I have been using it on my desktop since launch, and every computer I have purchased since then has had Vista on it, so I have become quite used to it. Now when I use Windows XP it seems so foreign and confusing, probably the same as for people going the other way. Plus I love all the added visual shit in Vista, just makes XP look primitive now. I dunno, I just like the layout more, plus it seems to support all my hardware very nicely
No, it's not overclocked, just running in super performance mode (which just runs it at the full 1.6ghz). Halo I did a little mod to the shortcut I saw on the microsoft site that gave me much better FPS. Oblivion i just had to tweak with oldblivion, and vice city is just as is.

That was Vista, but now 7 is installed on it. That is your opinion, and only your opinion. And honestly, I couldn't care less about it.

Not that vista is bad. Vista is good but compared to 7 it sucks.
After a fresh reboot of a clean installation of vista: 1.12GB of RAM is being used
Windows 7: 636
Vista is stable and doesnt crash now but its still MUCH slower than XP or 7

I'm sorry, I was under the impression that "VISTA SUCKS" meant it was bad in some way. It's not, it's just not as good as 7.

Unscrew the 4 screws on the bottom, which reveals the hard drive and ram. After that it's exactly like any other laptop

Yes. Running in Super performance which brings it to almost 1.7ghz

Try it on overclocked 2.1 or 2.16 ghz
Don't go any higher however or your system should crash

This is sooo sad, my computer cost me $1000 and it can't run ANY of those games on low settings.
I have a gateway laptop MX8741, its more for media i think but still, 2 gigs of ram and i can't run any of those games...
I am definetly getting me one of those little monsters.
is yours overclocked or anything? you get boss fps but its a tiny little machine.
