It's called "show truck" guys...

If you see it live you'll shake your head because the owner put more money in the engine than you will spend for a truck...

And BTW it has so much torque that when the owner pulls the trigger the rim spins empty in the tire... It says R999 i rather go for "666 the number of the beast" because it pulled 1002hp on the dyno... this Scania was almost in every Truck Magazine in Europe so you Freightliner(Mercedes) or Mack(Renault) drivers bring something equal...

Drove this in Brisbane, Australia in 2009, amazing experience, even with no water cooling for the brakes and locked diff (surprise surpise) it was just brutal, Brisbane Airport Corporation would not allow us to powerslide or use grass to ease driveline strain, but it was outstanding and something you don't forget in a hurry, Svempas was a barrel of laughs, telling us to drive faster, I think it was the only English he spoke.

Big thanks to Scania Australia for letting us loose in it.

I bet it's a lot lighter than the average truck because it's chopped and unnecessary components have been removed. A rough guess it weighs about 6000 kg. Compared to a porsche 911 turbo the specs are actually closer than you think.

Porsche 911 turbo specs: ~1.5 tonne, 500 Hp, 650 Nm, 0-60 mph 3,7 s.

This truck specs: [250 Hp, >1000 Nm] / 1.5 tonne, 0-60 mph 5 s.

Well it's not as fast as a porsche but it sure is damn fast.
