Disneyworld is on a MUCH larger scale. While Disneyland California has only two parks (Magic Kingdom, California Adventure), Disneyworld has four (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney Hollywood Studios). It also has a larger selection of resorts and that kind of thing. I'm not saying it's better, it's just larger.
