@suncruiser00 As long as the vehicle is prepped for the cold weather, you should do fine. If the ESV has performance tires on it vs snow/ice tires, there are some spots that you might need chains. I'd also make sure you have gear to survive in the truck if you are stuck in a storm. On my trip there was an oil truck that got two flat tires on the Dalton - that road is still hard on tires, even in winter. You can hear the flat tire convo in the background of the Tundra videos I posted.

This is just north of Fairbanks , AK and is mainly a dirt road in summer, but pretty solid in the winter.
