When this game first came out HDTV's were still really expensive. I bought a projector instead and remember playing this on a 120in screen. It seriously felt like you were in the cockpit of a giant mech, it was so badass.
ok first off... dumbass for tipping over and for those wondering it causes some damage but very minimal/un-noticeable damage... plus anyone whos wondering about how to prevent tipping from turning too fast... boost in the direction that your going to tip in.. if you do it early enough you can actually stay standing and not worry about it...
you can use it for pc if u have the xbox to usb plug. im currently playing mw4 w/ it rightnow. and funny in the end he ejected side ways lmao. anyways. airntidess, if u have the controller, ill help u get it to work on pc and we can play mw4. good to still see sb owners these days.
Haha sorry dude, I wasn't rich enough to buy SB+Controller back then, but I heard a lot about it and was excited to see a mech simulator with lots of switches and stuff for an 'authentic' experience.
Given that Capcom have the amazing MT Framework engine available, they could make a MMO SB2 for the PC with original controller support. Peripherals are hot stuff these days, just look at Guitar Hero/Rock Band and the Wii :p
@Oneshootonekill Yeah I've heard. Very excited, the need for a Kinect controller is a bit disheartening - not fond of that decision. However, with From Software and Capcom working on it together I'm sure it will kick ass and I'm waiting with anticipation.
@airantidess In the games defence, the draw distances complimented the scale of the VTs. Few people, who have not played the game realise how big the VTs actually were in relation to the world around them.
That Juggernaut is broke as hell... Sad you lost it. Why did you eject? Does tipping over actually cause damage? I've never really noticed...
Then again, I'm only on mission 3, and happen to be getting spanked rather hard in my stock VT. Can't wait for that beast of a VT to get unlocked... /salivate
Imagine this for kinects...

@Razaej hawken is a lot more casual though, steel battalion is as hardcore as it gets for mech based game.

That ending was pretty badass

No wonder the graphics look so good - they had to sacrifice draw distance.
I too wish for a SB2. I doubt Capcom will be willing to risk it though :/

IMnotHANDI 2 years ago
Well, SB3 then, and no thanks, don't have the space for the controller at the moment.

Whoa whoa whoa. What the hell happened at the end?
ImprobableDrive 3 years ago
He ran so fast and tried to turn that it overwhelmed the mech's Gyro and he fell over....then he ejected.

This game is pretty damn sexy I gotta say.
It would be incredible playing some future release of this game on theater screens.
My school did that for Halo 3 release, so it's not entirely impossible. >_>

I wish they'd make another one for the 360 or PS3. Don't care which one. Love this game.

How much did you pay for it?
Armedwolf6 3 years ago
I love that cockpit closing sequence, so cool. I wish I could play this, but I lack an xbox.
Arayziel 3 years ago 8
I bet you also lack the special Controler for this game what makes it all the more worth wile
befree3344 3 years ago
@Arayziel Well, the game is a collectors item now, so you would be shelling out AT LEAST $300 to get a copy of it (and it's required controller).
Although, the game/controller bundle was $200 when it came out, so no matter when you had bought it you would be paying a hefty price for it.

@Arayziel im pretty sure this is on PC
