Thank you very much for this post...one of my all-time favorites and one of the most overlooked songs of the late sixties. How "More Today" made it and this didn't...they forgot to flip the record over. Thank you Pat Upton. I looked for this song for 40 years...first heard it in '69.

I never really liked the 70s or 80s so I see this more as a 60s song. My Papa has good taste in music. I guess he had it good in his college years in Manila before finally moving to Iloilo.

1970's music. This reminds me of my freshman year in college in Cebu City, Philippines. Uy mga bai's remember dili ta mo sakay ug jeepney basta dili stereo, unya kini pirme ang tokar. Sus ang pasahero pulos estudyante, unya ang ti-il i undak undak pa gyud. Those were the good old days and I really miss it. Thank God there is music that we can relate to, our life as a teenager.

Kabayan, the singer of the group is Pat Upton, and he came to Pinas and held concerts in Manila, Cebu and Tagaytay, unluckily those were the days around 21 June 2007, during the terrible storm Frank. I hope you had the chance to see and hear him.
