NCDOT didnt have a nose cone. they ran out. this engine has been in sooooo many collisions its not funny. NCDOT really ran out of replacement parts. so they had someone kinda fabricate a steel nose over top of the the normally flat sand bunker. i think it looks horrible. and yes the horn...YUCK ! terrible. it sucks.
LOL, they just took off the Fiberglass nose cone and painted the steel superstructure of the nose, that's why it looks so awful. As for the horn, meh, as long as the engine runs.

Thats because its been in like 10 wrecks since March. The worst was hitting 10+ cars in Charlotte, it set a record for most cars hit at one time.
