Effects? The stunt took 87 jumps to get all of the necessary shots. The only blue-screen used was for the close ups of the principal actors. Great stuff and much more realistic than the CGI rubbish we're subjected to these days.
Can you really tell me that when you watched this for the first time, the face that Bond was diving FASTER towards the ground without a parachute out of an airplane didn't give you one bit of thrill?
@Josephdorf03 Well, not only have I seen every single James Bond movie, but also I am a huge fan. It is a fact that this one wasn't a good one (apart from a couple of scenes like the one you said). Try comparing it to Goldfinger or Thunderball.

The rest oif the movie is total shit but that scene has always impressed me.
Todays Bond would be in a wind tunnel w/ blue walls, later to be replaced w/ CGI exploding airplanes and tracer bullets.
