@callmepattmusic Thanx Pat. A common misconception with today's music as opposed to yesteryear's music is that today's sound contains a lot of vocal cheating due to studio apparatuses such as auto tune whereas yesteryear's music implemented no gimmicks. Back in those days an engineer had to rely on clever improvisations to make a vocalist sound better than life. The very first flanger sound came by accident when an engineer leaned his arm against the flange of a tape deck.
@Herefortheguitar Thanx Rich. Although I'm still writing songs I haven't made plans for another video for the near future. I want to keep this one on for a while as my newest featured video until the views climb up a little more.
@plzreadmeprettygurl Thank you so much. I did experience some labor pains giving birth to my latest offspring but after some controlled breathing and a little "Push, push, push" I finally popped out this bundle of joy.
Your video gave me a lot of remembering. But it's a remembering into the seventies, when I first heard Rock'n'Roll togeher with Glam Rock (I'm born in the sixties).
We loved this music and where happy to dance on it in our school parties.
@Segelfilmer Pretty much the same story with me Thomas. My oldest brother had left behind a 50s record when he left home. I found that not only did it make a great frisbee for knocking down stuff in the basement but when I put it on the turntable it played some real cool music. They built those records tough in those days.
@A297MAN104 Thank you Dave. Lately I've been running with writing these classic style songs and getting a real kick out of them. I think I'm going to stick with this for while because there's something about that era that gives me a real uplift.
@Herfortz Go for it Stephen.....You've got a great understanding of music during that decade and era......and for a lot of people (young and old).....it's either unknown and untouched....or full of memories...Good luck...Look forward to hearing your next 'Classic'.......regards.....Dave
@DesertDriver100 I saw a harmonica by my side and it happened to match the song which is in the key of G. I laid the harp down to set the recording track then reached for it but it was all wrong and saw that it was a C harmonica. Now the thing about harmonicas is that if you play it in key with a song you blow into it and you will get that forlorn prairie dogs sound but if you plays bluesy harp in G you would use a C harp and suck into it for the bends so I ended up holding both and switching.
@Ajohn13 Thanx John. I had this song almost done a month ago and like all my projects, kicked it off to the side to work on other songs. I asked my friend which song should I focus on for the next upload and he said this one. I pulled an all nighter last night and just picked up a harmonica that was at my side and it was actually in key with the song. Combined with my best Beach Boys impersonation I finished her up and watch the sun rise. It's always a great feeling to complete a project.
always in love with the 50s...
well done steve!

What a beautiful tribute! I had a chuckle over "my best Beach Boys impersonation"
because you really do sound a bit similar to the Beach Boys in their early years.
