Would love it if she played a bit less poppy stuff but hey, that's what appeals to the public, can't expect someone to adjust to your specific taste. Just appreciate whatever covers she does do that you like, and don't click on videos with nirvana in the title.

And yes, Vika should play on a piano and not on a keyboard/synth like me (I play mostly rock/metal for the record). But it may be that this keyboard has keys that are less weighted than a piano, thus making it easier to play energic parts.

@joeyisfunny I would like to point out how amazingly DIFFICULT it is to transpose things like Daran Malakian's guitar riffs to the piano. i had never heard of symphony x before your comments, but after looking them up, i'll tell you why she doesn't cover them. there is WAY too much going on in their music to cover. listen to the songs she plays. there is generally a vocal track, a melody track (played by guitar or violin) a drum track (which gets left out in her covers), and a bass track.
