MTV promotes excessive drinking, then tries to come off as heros by putting this guy in rehab-what a joke. Best line ever- Dave saying Joe is "just being a kid"---that's what the real world does, it encourages its cast to be kids, gives them an environment to do so, then lets the cameras role-it's really not helpful for the cast in the short term, or the long term (outside of being a C-list celebrity for 6 months)...but hey, anything for ratings, right?

The real world formula is like this: They take the craziest white people they can find and put them in a house. Then they throw in a token black guy and expect him to live normally, but for some reason the last couple of seasons have had two black guys. Rest assured one of the black guys (Greg) is the villain.
