Right now the Hulk is more popular than Thor. So Thor is somewhat of a heel in MU right now. But his popularity is going up again. And when the movie comes out it will make him even more popular. Not since Simonson since Thor have been popular.

Thor was created by Lee and Kirby because they wanted a character that's more powerful than both Hulk and Superman.
It says a lot that the ONLY way Hulk managed to beat Thor in Ultimate Avengers was by using Mjolnir, something that CAN'T happen in the regular Marvel universe.

@Lordlt82 Actually i'd have to disagree with you about Thanos taking Odins best blows. Also at the end of every exchange Thanos was the one getting up off the ground with clothes torn and dirty. Odin was chilling and is the least bit afraid of Thanos. Granted he probably was suprised that he was ready for more. If it turned into a battle to the death however Odin would most definitely win no doubt, but the fact that Thanos did stand up to him like he did with Tyrant is still very impressive.

@Lordlt82 Um apparently you forgot about one lil detail. Tyrant (was) equal to Galactus. If you remember in their battle Galactus gained the upper hand, defeated him, shrunk him down to his current size and stripped him of the bulk of his power. So he is no longer anywhere near Galactus's level. However he was still powerful enough to defeat like 3 of big G's heralds including Surfer, Gladiator, Captain Marvel and another cosmic powered hero at the same time! So yea he is extremely powerful.

@steveaventuras my biggest beef with odin whom i think is a great chracter is that people think beat thanos this did not happen the mad titan took his best blows with ease odin asked do you yield viallin answer no i dont see that as a victory in fact i think odin over did it and was scared of a full battle with him

@Lordlt82 Actually i'd have to disagree with you about Thanos taking Odins best blows. Also at the end of every exchange Thanos was the one getting up off the ground with clothes torn and dirty. Odin was chilling and is the least bit afraid of Thanos. Granted he probably was suprised that he was ready for more. If it turned into a battle to the death however Odin would most definitely win no doubt, but the fact that Thanos did stand up to him like he did with Tyrant is still very impressive.

@wakamene this is old to me and i grow old of talking about it thanos is a villian period odins is a hero who wins heros but by base of power thanos without power ups has taken on thor many times and won and to say that odin is stronger than tyrant is a joke thanos drew galactus and tyrant both of them have the power to kill a sky father which odin is so yes thanos would win thanos does not get cred due thor/odin fan base or don't know what he really can do

@Lordlt82 I agree this is old but to me being a villian or a hero does not matter. If someone is more powerful then it is what it is. Odin would also beat Thor so I don't see the point there and i didn't actually say Odin was stroger than Tyrant I said it was impressive that Thanos stood up to both of them. Still though what proof is there that Tyrant can kill a skyfather? Did you actually say Thanos drew Galactus? Seriously!? Thats impossible but just for grins when did this happen?

@Lordlt82 Also I give Thanos all the credit in the world I know very well what he is capable of and he is in actuallity my favorite character even over Thor/Odin soooo. The fact is im realistic, just because he is my favorite does not mean I'm going to say he is more powerful then people he is not. Fact is he drew Tyrant and got scrubbed up a bit by odin. He actually did something against Tyrant and didn't even scratch Odin! Look at it again, truth or not???

@wakamene what i'm getting at is tyrant is stronger that odin by far thanos did very with him without a any injuires just cloths ripped pretty much by you making a case for odin your saying that he is stronger than tyrant odin is strong just at the end of day just a sky father tyrant is a equal of galactus odin is not even all the power ups from asgard that is my case based on the thanos v tyrant fight thanos would out last and win at base level

@Lordlt82 Um apparently you forgot about one lil detail. Tyrant (was) equal to Galactus. If you remember in their battle Galactus gained the upper hand, defeated him, shrunk him down to his current size and stripped him of the bulk of his power. So he is no longer anywhere near Galactus's level. However he was still powerful enough to defeat like 3 of big G's heralds including Surfer, Gladiator, Captain Marvel and another cosmic powered hero at the same time! So yea he is extremely powerful.

@wakamene also own the cosmic powers series it was great and yes he did own terrax gladiator jack of hearts son of mar vel surfer and tamed morg in the last part of the series thanos watched the vid of g man battling tyrant and winning still he is stronger than odin fuck he died to surter get real that shits lame i mean surter wtf all of a sudden everything asgard is tier one lol when in fact the celestials made them i guess cause it's asgard they are stronger them than them lol

@Lordlt82 Its a very weak attempt at making Odin look weak. Just a tip if you want to try and make somoene look bad you probably shouldn't use a loss or draw actually to a being as powerful as Surtur as the example. I never said everything Asgard is the best . There are plenty of Asgardians that are not powerful, but we are talking about skyfather Odin the King of the Norse Gods cmon. Of course he is the shit!

@Lordlt82 You obvioiusly did not see when Thanos blasted Galactus through the wall of his ship then Galactus came right back with no damage and did Thanos is with one beam. Also if you compare the Tyrant and Odin fights how can you say Thanos did better against Odin then he did against Tyrant? He didn't even move Odin once! Odin is way more powerful than most ppl. He is basically more powerful than Thanos but not so than Galactus.

@Lordlt82 I think you are confusing yourself. You are the one who brought Gman into this by saying Thanos beat him remember, which by the way you still have not explained when or how that happened. Also our discussion is about Thanos being more powerful than Odin. Tyrant was simply mentioned and then you started saying Odin was not as powerful than him to which I said that Odin did better against Thanos than Tyrant did. You also have not explained why that is so.

Es que son dos pesos pesados de Marvel. Hulk porque es casi invulnerable y Thor por ser un dios inmortal (aún asi Thor no es tan invulnerable como Hulk, Thor es inmortal, pero si a Thor le dan un hachazo en el cuello le cortan la cabeza como a cualquiera)....

my own personnal opinion is that a fight between classic thor and savage hulk could easily go either way. i'd give it to hulk. but odinforce thor can beat any hulk. athough war hulk would provide an interesting match up don't you think?
