  • @circulation211 Thanks man, I appreciate it! I wasn't aware it was on there until I saw a comment on the other video. What saddens me, however, is that many viewers of these videos think they're seeing the final product and complaining about the lack of enemies and so forth. I probably should have made it more clear that I haven't even properly implemented navigation/A.I. Director functionality yet.

  • Boring...and overdone. What part of this was supposed to make me excited? We all have HL2 already...

  • @DokuPuffs I make it pretty clear what to expect in both the title of this video and the description given before the in-game footage is shown. The goal here is to allow players to battle against zombies in a complete replica of the NES version of Super Mario Bros. from stages 1-1 to 1-4. The purpose is to appeal to those who love nostalgia and tributes to older games. It's not meant to be "exciting," as you worded it, but "neat" because it stays so true to the original game.

  • @Maikuu You won't want to sidestep the blocks because they contain items and the steps may contain items up at the top, too. Notice you don't see many pipe bombs, health packs, etc. I'll make it work so that it's practical. Some of it is there for the sake of being close to the game visually, too. Sometimes you have to make those types of sacrifices if you're staying so close to the source material.

    They could be part of the map, I think you could do it using simple map logic.
