@designbar1 I support the sauds, and saudi arabia and as sure as the USA sells weapons to not so democratic regimes other seek to do exactly what the USA is accused of , and that is to assert themselves over the region(i.e Iran). We are not always in the wrong and this is an area we are being asked to assist in...as far as there rule over there terr. wether fully democratic or not it is there territory and i dont see any deaths. I am also against US policing countries but I strong oppose the idea Iran is a huge target but not Saudi. 15 of 19 hijackers were saudi they also have radical sect and do not accept anyone that is not a sunni muslim. They are dangerous and if they were to stop jihad would lose so much funding. hopefully they can be stopped with peaceful means.

@TheYungapostle the west fears losing there power economically and imperially. I do think in areas that are corrupt we should sway them by peaceful means. We must be vigilant however as jihadist groups are not extremely influential in muslim countries(many are banned politically), if they can sway the people its not god news even peaceful moslims will not be able to stop them. The west has to stop its hiprocrosy when it comes to the middle east.

@greg91ification I disagree, do u know how effective it would be if the nations as a whole refused to acknowledge these corrupt nations as a pose to shoving them out physically with a military. The middle east no matter what anyone tells u, they are extremely tribal and tribes tend to sway there countries so we should let that be no matter what. Countries have a right no matter what way they determine there leaders they still have the right to those leaders staying in power.

No corrupt government should remain in power whether it be Islamic, christian etc. Our media should encourage these countries to aim higher and aim for a democracy. Religious scriptures will not resolve the issue they have to stop it themselves with non violent protests.

Saudis destroyed 1200 year old government run by Zaidy . They took over part of North Yemen and made the original inhabitants homeless poorest people of the region. After formation of Yemen republic in 1962 there has never been any fair election and 50% of Yemen (Houthi) people are forced to follow Saudi imposed Wahhabism. Houtis took over those strategic places in Saudi Arabia because Saudis allowed Yemen troops to attack Houthis from those locations.
