I have a degree and certifications @frosted1030. You shouldn't say someone that believes in God isn’t educated. If you read my comments you will see I'm well educated. God blessed me with a great mind. This should be obvious to you. Everything in the universe points toward a creator. The probabilities of a creator are humiliating for the atheistic belief. I thank God every day for the knowledge I was granted with. I look in the Bible for answers. Science and math helps point towards God too.
It always amazes me how simple minds conclude "It must be god" simply because they are too lazy or stupid to understand the science. You just keep reaching for that magic solution, stay dim, it's why your pastors call you sheep, you will believe anything, even a story about a magic invisible man that lives somewhere in the sky and forces good things to happen when you are good. Keeps you in line, and stops you from asking questions.
The proof of God's existence is staring scientists right in the face, and they ignore it. All the Laws of Science are evidence of God; for without God, none of those Laws could have been put into effect, or adhered to on such a universal scale. sorry atheists, but you're owned.
@legrancesare Evil spreads dangerous lies. God opened a window for us to view his creation. Darwinian theory is mathematically impossible. Life occurring by chance is 1010123 to 1, or 1 followed by 10123 zeros. Mathematically a probability of 1 in 1050 means “zero probability”. Evolution is impossible. Is this conceivable? Do you understand now? Multiverse hypotheses is deception at its best. People watch too much of the SciFi channel.
People have FAITH in a RELIGION called MACRO EVOLUTION. All one can have is faith in the macro evolution theory. Believe the lies in Darwinism if you like.
There is a God... just stoop down from your pride and see that none of these things could have come to being with Darwin's theory or whatever theory--
@thecrazyeyeskillah There's a huge difference in macro and micro evolution. Macro evolution is mathematically impossible. You sound quite skeptic of the Bible. Did you read any of the comments below before you posted? The Bible states we can't comprehend creation. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
I am a Catholic. Not a strict catholic, but I believe in God. Would it be so bad if evolution was God's plan rather than Adam and Eve? How do we even know if God likes being called God. All of our understanding of the higher power is written by humans who think they have the answer. Can't we just accept that the answer is probably beyond human comprehension. I am not in a rush to die but I look forward to finding out the mystery. I have a good feeling that life continues.
Roger Penrose calculated for the universe to be created at random would be 1 part in 10 raised to the 10th power raised to the 123rd power. Now that's far beyond belief. That's more than the calculated atoms in the universe.
Also another fact. 1 in 10 to the 40,000th power is the chance for life to evolve. Sir Fred Hoyle once said "Let's be scientifically honest. The probability of life arising to greater and greater complexity by chance through evolution is the same probability as having a tornado tear through a junkyard and form a Boeing 747 jetliner."
("See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” Luke 24 39) Rationalization points toward a creator. Physical matter cannot come from nothing. ("I am alpha and omega the beginning and the end the first and the last." Revelation 22 13) Here is a website for debates on whatever you choose. Just Google.
Hi, My name is Haukur and I have only one concerne. Has it never occured to those who believe blindly in either the existance of a creator god or those who refuse to believe in such a thing that you might just not know? Why is it so important for so many to seek some sort of higer truth witch boils down to become a mear point of view? I am not a beiliever in God but if would come to my house for a cup of tea he might cange my mind. Lets take things face value =)
@ParaPsyopticNerve I don't hate rapists. I'm too forgiving to hate. I know the things I have said might send me to hell but if I can't repent enough for it I'll have to accept going to hell. Somethings the troubles in the world and my paranoia makes me lose my faith in things. I guess I'll accept hell if my words can't be repented for.
I was physically and mentally abused as well. Sorry to hear that. It helped strengthen my belief in God. My father also had 666 tattooed across his forehead. You should watch (The case for faith) on my YouTube page. Hopefully that video helps others belief in God. I know he exists. No doubts.
Prayed to god asking of his existence (I'm somewhat of a Christian) but every time I have no answer. I'm straight but I support equal rights for gays and if god hates them then that alone shows he fails at being "a perfectly divine being whose will is above all else". Hope I have shed some light on this. Thank you for your time.
I'm not comparing one to the other, but the point is if you and "we" define, reject or approve of sexual acts, how could god not have an opinion and how could it not be valid and justified?
BTW I don't think that alone will send you to hell "For I am the only way"-J.C.
@wickerman6121 God doesn't hate gays, God is a GOD of order, and there is no place that a male penis belongs inside of another male (indisputable fact) Those who choose to make use of this are in rebellion against the purpose and order of your creation. Therefore there is a consequence. If that person is "born" that way, then its as rare as any other genetic defect and they should be respected as such and also through faith can be healed of that condition spiritually. Through grace and forgiven
Honestly sometimes I found god confusing. How could it let people (like me I was abused as a child and I'm haunted by "visions" and nightmares) suffer? Not to mention many starve, are murdered, and commit suicide. Mysterious ways my foot! Seriously if it was perfectly good why would it let Satan exist? Why would it let so much pain, death, and suffering into the world. If it was a "divine being whose will is above all else" why would it let any evil into the universe? Not to mention the times I
NY Times article states. Survey of Scientists Finds A Stability of Faith in God. Then as now, about 40 percent of the responding biologists, physicists and mathematicians said they believed in a God who, by the survey's strict definition, actively communicates with humankind and to whom one may pray ''in expectation of receiving an answer.
Roughly 15 percent in both surveys claimed to be agnostic or to have ''no definite belief'' regarding the question, while about 42 percent in 1916 and about 45 percent today said they did not believe in a God as specified in the questionnaire, although whether they believed in some other definition of a deity or an almighty being was not addressed. The figure of unqualified believers is considerably lower than that usually cited for Americans as a whole.
Gallup polls, for example, have found that about 93 percent of people surveyed profess a belief in God. But those familiar with the survey said that, given the questionnaire's exceedingly restrictive definition of God -- narrower than the standard Gallup question -- and given scientists' training to say exactly what they mean and nothing more, the 40 percent figure in fact is impressively high. More revealing than the figures themselves, experts said, are their stability.
Scientists private beliefs remained unchanged across almost a century defined by change suggests that orthodox religion is no more disappearing among those considered the intellectual elite than it is among the public at large. The results also indicate that, while science and religion often are depicted as irreconcilable antagonists, each a claimant to the throne of truth, many scientists see no contradiction between a quest to understand the laws of nature, and a belief in a higher deity.
A survey of scientists who are members of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. According to the poll, just over half of scientists (51%) believe in some form of deity or higher power; specifically, 33% of scientists say they believe in God, while 18% believe in a universal spirit or higher power. By contrast, 95% of Americans believe in some form of deity or higher power, according to a survey of the general public conducted by the Pew Research Center in July 2006.
Specifically, more than eight-in-ten Americans (83%) say they believe in God and 12% believe in a universal spirit or higher power. Finally, the poll of scientists finds that four-in-ten scientists (41%) say they do not believe in God or a higher power, while the poll of the public finds that only 4% of Americans share this view.
Some people think by believing in evolution it makes them sound cool and smart. Degrees help you gain knowledge. Not evolution. Hatred torwards belief in God is a strong feeling. Some atheists/evolutionists have told me. This video aggravates belief in evolution. You should Google (scientist God) before making a statement like that. Some scientist don't believe
I really had to dislike this at around 13 minutes when they starting talking about Darwin and the fossil record. Stupid Christians. Go watch the irrefutable proof of evolution series by Donexodus. And FYI something like 99% of scientists believe evolution is true. Scratch that, they know it's true. It's also pretty funny when this guy says that scientists need to make a blind leap of faith for their beliefs. 25 minutes in I'm done watching this. Fucking Christian scientists...
Think about the science of earth. How our atmosphere keeps all the ultraviolet radiations from being destructive. How our planets temperature is balanced. How the atmosphere builds up then dissipates the suns power. The earth’s plates and what they do for keeping the greenhouse gases regulated. Phytoplankton photosynthesis provides about 50% of the earth’s oxygen or more. The rest of it is created by trees, grass and other plant life.
Now we will go a little into space. Let’s think about the gravitation pull of the planet. It keeps gases in check. It keeps harmful gases out. The gases that help sustain life in. We’re also at a perfect distance from a perfect sized star that we orbit. Don’t forget about what our moon does for the planet either. It helps keep our tilt stabilized. It keeps our tides going.
For that ocean life we need. We’re not close to any exploding objects, or any other dangerous objects in space. We have other planets that protect us from dangerous objects that soar through space. The other planets gravitational pull clings to those objects and they take the hit. Earth isn’t close to any super massive black holes and supernovas or any of the universes dangerous activities. Should I go any deeper?
I really think the everything is created and that the creator or creators are masters of matter manipulation and this universe is just one out infinite fractals, and i tend to think that it is what we called ALIENS that are more advanced than the human Brain can deal with.
study NDES and you will be closer to what we really are. Body and consciousness are separate and we separate from our bodys, we are everything and everywhere all at the same time, and space and time does not exist as we everything.
