I'm writing a story and it takes place in 1840. I want the characters to live in the same setting(area) as Wuthering Heights, but I'm a bit confused about the geographical area. Should I say that the person lives in Haworth Yorkshire England or should it be Haworth - West Yorkshire England or Bradford Haworth Yorkshire England? Can anyone please help?
Thank G-d some things stay the same! Fabulous! I used to visit Howarth when I was a child. I always loved it!- This vid you made shows all the shops very well, and brought back great mamories! Hope you had fun there while making it. I do miss it so......
I've read a fair number of the Bronte novels. There is nothing kitsch or quaint in them. Haworth seems crudded over with kitsch but you can see what a hard town it is underneath the ye olde crap. Thanks for posting.
I'VE BEEN THERE! I LOVE THAT PLACE! The house has such a lovely view of the moors, doesn't it? I think I've been there 3 times now 'cause I love the Bronte sisters. I think I'm a reincarnation of Emily!
mmmm...'stirring' music and shots of tourist shops and tea rooms. this is, perhaps, not how emily - for one - might have wished herself or the rest of the Brontes to have been portrayed on youtube! she would have fled.
What a wonderful place to have lunch and go for a stroll with my honey.

The whole town is set up to make money out of the Brontes. Its quite sick really when you think about it.

what a really dumb choice of music it is! A beautiful and special place ruined by a totally idiotic decision to use it....doh!!!

don't think the music is appropriate but the video is good

It's only my opinion but I do find the music utterly distasteful. I wonder if the Bronte sisters would appreciate it.

The only problem with Haworth now it is full of tourists - thats why I moved away after living there for 30 years

Hiya.. just thought I'd mention that it's not Howarth, it's Haworth.. and it's in West Yorkshire, not North Yorkshire. :)

Thanks for clearing that up!
Also--I think the music was probably the husband's choice as a joke. I don't think any woman would have picked out that music.
