I call planes WITHOUT bomb-proof-containers and safe fuel (that doesnt burn, unless used in an engine) pretty much unsafe. those things exist for 20y. the containers would actually save money, since i dont have to look for explosives in checked-bags. do we have those things? no. and they are possible/not very expensive, still no one cares.
I can always make a bomb that will defeat any 'bomb-proof' container on a plane, and if the fuel were non-flammable, it would not longer be fuel. For the fuel to work it has to burn, i.e. be flammable.

For example, the average consumer would rather pay to overnight an important envelope or package (usually its a tax/business write off, so probably arn't paying for it anyway) happily for $100 and you can fill a B777 with ALOT of envelopes.

Not that I entirely blame the crew. That captian had no place being in that airpane, he failed so many times it's unreal. He should have been let go, but there ya go why replace them when its cheaper to just keep them around.
Now as for the FO, she was anothe victim of the crash, a young girl with ambitions and dreams of being an airline pilot.

I call planes WITHOUT bomb-proof-containers and safe fuel (that doesnt burn, unless used in an engine) pretty much unsafe. those things exist for 20y. the containers would actually save money, since i dont have to look for explosives in checked-bags. do we have those things? no. and they are possible/not very expensive, still no one cares.

I can always make a bomb that will defeat any 'bomb-proof' container on a plane, and if the fuel were non-flammable, it would not longer be fuel. For the fuel to work it has to burn, i.e. be flammable.

fuel doesnt burn, its the gasoline/air-mix that burns.
again: you have no clue. there are additives that can prevent fuel from igniting, UNLESS sprayed in a jet-engine at high pressure, which is not the case if there is a crash...
same with the containers: to be able to bring the AC down, it would need a big load which cant be hidden from screening.
Titanic comment: the designers/makers never used those words. the titanic was never advertised as unsinkable. get your facts right...

No, it is just restated in different terms, there is no bomb-proof plane, it would never fly, either from the weight or from the rediculous cost of building one. Fuel has to burn to be used, therefore it is flammable, you 'additives' may make it less so in certain circumstances, but it STILL has to burn. Airlines could not operate perfectly safe aircraft, EVEN IF they did exist.

Thank you for including Alaska flight 261 in your list - Capt. Thompson spoke those words 1 tenth of a second before impact. He and F/O Tansky fought to save that plane even when it inverted! 88 people lost their lives that January day and the world is worse off for it.
