Ummmm how about if you GO TO "SOUND ENGINEERING AS THEY APPLY TO VISUAL ELEMENTS" CLASSES! It's hard to enjoy any "face value" images when the audio is POOR, and you may be just that...POOR! So, apply for classes and some financial aid, scholarships, etc.,buy some equipment to practice, and STUDY how the pros do this sort of thing. IDIOT! That's like watching a movie, or going to a concert with NO EFFECT TO IT. Now you go and "FUCK OFF!"
Love the clip, but whoever put this up out here needs to study more about sound and audio! There are schools that teach you how to RAISE THE VOLUME! LOL!
i've seen that when i was a kid, in a short run of solid gold over here in germany, i remembered it, typed it in, and voila'...wow, takes me WAAAYYBACK...good feelings...but the AD SUCKS...!
@zarcon85- Indeed, the ad does suck. I lost the old VHS tape from which I made this digital copy, so, until I find it again and make another digital w/o the ad, this will just have to do. Just enjoy it for what it is until then.
on the record it actually was prince if I am not mistaken they are really good friends and collaborate on music from the 80's all the way until now in 2011
It's very funny the guy pretending to sing the Prince parts, Prince put his stamp on that song and nobody can fake his voice, it's so obvious that voice belongs to Prince.
I loooooove Sheila E....saw her when she was with Ringo's All Starr Band in 2006-ish. She was amazing. Stole the show away from Ringo, I think. ;) lol
@daggerrrrrr -stands up and shakes my ass- LOL. 1981 babi here..When this album came out in 85' i was turning 4 yrs old. My mom had this album back then and i use to look at the front cover and think to myself daamn i wanna be just like her. I remember the cover use to look magical like a fairy tale. Thank God i have the ''Romance 1600'' CD..She looks sooo good in this vid here! Btw, that's the same outfit as on the album cover, i wonder if she still has the baby blue fit? I love Miss Sheila E.
@missNYCmodel You have good taste in music. I'm an 82' baby. Growing up my mom loved Prince and any song that had him on it. I remember riding in the car with this song playing on the radio and ever since then, I loved it. As time went by(mostly through the 90's and the early 2000's) I forgot about this song. I couldn't remember who sang it or how the song went. But the chorus has always stuck with me. It took Youtube for me to find this song again and I love it just like I did back then.
@daggerrrrrr Aww. Like, i heard this way back in 85' and have always kept it w/ me in my mind up until i grew up, and now i own the entire CD so it's kinda like a full circle moment for me. ''Toy Box'' is my FAAAV song off the album, look it up when you get the time. That song has a sexual meaning to it LOL but i will say that i cried when i 1st heard it again in 2008. 1985-2008 is a long time to go w/ out hearing one of your fav songs you know, when i heard the beat i lost it...Sheila is a GOD!
@daggerrrrrr hey.... i'm a '72 baby... and I grew up with this IN PERSON!!! I love the fact that you're so into this "classic" music... i hate to call it classic, but I guess that's what is is now..... DAMN, I'M OLD!
Why, why, WHY!! Geesh, the 80's, when you could so blatantly lip-sync & it was all cool, as long as you had big hair. How so silly!
Why, why, WHY ...... did the 80's ever have to end? PLEASE come back.

This song is too funky. I loved Sheila in those Pince-videos back then. Beside her musical talent, she has this uber-sexy body to match.

In fact, Dionne is visible in the white gown, seated at the very beginning of the video. She is only visible for like a second.
