At school I only have 5 friends: Kathleen, Maryssa, Jennifer, Amy, and Sam. They mean the world to me. Im always bullied a lot at school, and my friends are always there for me. On September 16, 2011, I had a gun pointed to my head. I was just about to pull the trigger, when I suddenly saw my picture of us on my nightstand. I put down the gun.

You only have a few more years (if that) of high school and you don't want to do something that'll hurt all those who are close to you. I only have one friend at school and it's lonely when she's not around. It's a girl that teases me when she gets the chance and it does get to you. This is disgusting! I can't take young children who kill themselves because all they want is the love they desire and wish for, i could've been one of them, i even question myself "Why am i here?" When i grow up, i will become a hero to billions of humans who are stricken by this economic plague and this inhumane and barbaric discrimination, my dream is that one day i will save billions of lives who have given up hope and are lost inside, one day i will give them something to believe in. What a wonderful tribute and GREAT song choice! My nephew saw a tribute to Brandon Bitner and called me crying. He knows what I went through in high school and college. He thanked me for not giving in to the bullying I went through. My message to those thinking that suicide is the only way out. Think of all the people, like my nephew who NEED you in their lives!

@daggett588525 I'm glad you didn't give up. I know it probably seems worthless coming from a person you don't know, but I mean it. I think one thing that people need to know is that it does get better. It doesn't always seem that way at the moment, but it does get better. Life becomes rough but it's about us bouncing back. Brandon's story really touched me too because he was teased for 5 years and the school didn't even care enough to search. So many youth are gone because of careless schools.

@daggett588525 Nobody NEEDS me in their life. My kids rarely visit, my grandkids were kidnapped and sold by the state, I have no friends to spend time with, and I'm all alone. So in a painful situation like this, and nothing in the future to look forward to, what are we supposed to do?

@childsweethearts Help others. Join a club that mirrors your passions. Your children would miss you dearly despite the fact that they don't visit. Sometimes we don't realize what we have until it's gone. Find different things to do to meet other people. There are many other lonely people out there that would love to talk and meet you. I'm sorry about your grandchildren. Please stay strong.

Writing to me with advice&encouragement means a lot.As good as your advice is, I'm not sure it would help me with the deep depression I'm in.I cried through church today as they talked about families.The past couple days I keep calling my daughters and they haven't called back. To have to endure this pain that they're puttung me through is something I'm not sure is worth it.I try to spend time with others,but they pain hits&all I can do is be alone &cry.

@childsweethearts You should see a doctor. I'd really be hurt if I found out you gave up. Seriously. I really think about all these people who have issues with depression. Its a light at the end of the tunnel. You do impress and inspire people and there are those who love you. Family isn't always blood related.
