  • I feel sich when I see how the americans steal ideas from another countries but I guess I feel even worst when I know millions of idiots are going to watch the remake

  • @Lakkauser I saw the original, and I saw the remake. I am American and the remake SUCKED, but I didn't expect anything else.

  • @rachelsOne STFU how would u enjoy watching evry damned good movie in ur life with subtitles conceited asshole

  • @taylorhottner Damn right I'm conceited if conceited means intelligent. You R the one who needs to STFU it's clear you're upset because you are unable to give intelligent comments.

  • Daniel Craig as Michael Blomkvist... dear God, help us.

  • @RosieSquall Oh he ws as bad as Roony Mara was as Lisbeth Salander.

  • no American Version!!!!! !please the girl with the dragon tatoo should remain the same!!!!! no to an american version!!!! shame on americans that like to stoleen best films from all arround the world!!!!!

  • @Warezal3x3i Too ate they've already made it and it sucks.

  • Smilla's sense of snow SUCKED. Also WHY the FUCK are they remaking TGWTDT already? Could it be b/c Americans are a bunch of illiterate fat asses to lazy to read a subtitle?

  • @rachelsOne ..I'd watch it with subtitles, and I watched the original Insomnia with subtitles. .. dont worry about the hostile reply from someone named "taylorhottner" LOL.

    I agree completely!

  • @SuperOmnicron Please I'm not afraid of any idiot on You Tube. But thanks anyway.

  • This is a much better trailer

  • Noomi Rapace was offered the role in the remake but said no. She had already done the film was her reason. You can see her in sherlock holmes 2 with robert downey jr soon and she is asked by ridley scott to be in his new alien movie, so the movie really seemes to be what she needed for an international career. she is going to work a lot in america i suspect the coming years.

i am proud to be from sweden when i see Noomi doing so well.

  • If you like “The Girl W/ The Dragon Tattoo”, then check out the 1992 film “Smilla's Sense of Snow”. It's also based on a bestselling novel by another Nordic writer, Peter Høeg, & also features a woman with issues & a troubled past, who is intelligent, feisty, & investigating a mystery. I wouldn't be surprised if the heroine in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” was partly inspired by the character in “Smilla's Sense of Snow”. It stars Julia Ormond & Gabriel Byrne.

  • @MovieRecommendations I would be surprised if you knew what the hell you were writing sbout.

  • @rapidoxe ..Yeah, Noomi has the mysterious, enticing beauty...i hope she does well in America. Hopefully, Rooney Mara can do half as good a job in the remake.

  • I love A Single Man sooooooooo much.

  • american version? why dear americans why? it is so hard for you read subs really?

  • can someone please upload the movie the girl with the dragon tattoo

  • I actually think Daniel Craig would play the part of Blomqvist quite well. I'm a big fan of his, and I think he visually fits the part quite well. But I'm positive that the American version isn't going to be able to touch the original. They're not going to be able to find anyone of Noomi Rapace's talent and perfect looks to play Lisbeth.

  • There is no actress to play lisbeth salander. Daniel craig too gay for the blommkvist part. Stellan Skarsgård better choice ( he is swedish). The american version is going to blow like the american version of insomnia....

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?! DANIEL CRAIG PLAYING BLOMKVIST?! NO... i think his face is perfect for it, seeing as how Kalle isn't exactly "young"..I find that horrible though. such a great book, but crappy actors for the american version. i need to see this version though, i loved the book. I think Keira Knightly COULD be an alright Lisbeth, but playing Lisbeth is a difficult role.

  • American movies to an American ignorant public...

  • WHAT?!?!??!? DID I HEAR HIM SAY THEYRE GUNNA MAKE AN AMERICAN VERSION OF THE MILLENNIUM SERIES?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THEYRE JUST GUNNA RUIN IT!!!!! Dx

  • @dohboiii Does it matter? we are getting the Swedish versions first. But im sorry i cant read the papers and etc in that language and they dont subtitle that shit sooooooooooo maybe an American Adaption by David Fincher wouldnt be that bad.

  • @silentbob8201 Ummm, they have english subtitles for all 3 of the millennium movies... And usually all American/Hollywood recreations/redos BLOW ASS... lol

  • @dohboiii David Fincher is directing it... but Daniel Craig is playing Blomkvist.....

  • @dohboiii lol, its david fincher who is going to make it, could u ask for a better and more fitting director? i think not. He is just awesome!

  • @dohboiii yeah, i'm sure David Fincher can't pull off a book adaptation that rips off his own movie.

  • @DulBeat Well it's not really about David Fincher, It's about whether or not the actors and American standards can fit the roles of the characters.

  • The Girl with Dragon Tattoo. Excellent.

Not looking forward to the American version. We are too prudish and try to hide the reality and harshness of the things that happen all the time in life.

Don't generalize Americans, I don't mind subtitles at all.

I think Daniel Craig would be a good Blomkvist, the actor already reminds me of him, but have no idea about Lisbeth. Can't think of any American actress that can be that harsh. Keira Knightley played Domino (2005) really well.

  • Love The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

  • the intersecting storylines in brooklyn's is more realistic and doesn't really have the cool mindbending feel of Crash's intersecting storyline. IMO that's its weakness.

  • I really should have seen these movies. I wanted to, but never got around to it.

  • that last one looks pretty cool..

  • nice to see a swedish movie popular in other countries

  • @DSTDave it is also nice to see a movie from a book be popular

  • @Y05H1ROX lol tons of popular "book movies" harry potter? ^^

  • @DSTDave Yeah but 2 of the 100 book movies a year become famous, this year it was like 30 of 100

  • @DSTDave indeed, it is a pity that many "international movies" are shadowed or remade by americans and they get the credit...
