I remember one highlight of learning all your music on a trip up to Glacier Nat Park and CCR's Hits was the only tape we had, and we listened to you for 4 days haha. Great time. Also Every time i Raft the Grand Ronde and take the road out of Powatka i wish i could swing by your place, Troy has always been a favorite of mine as well as Tollgate where i grew up. I've been a CCR fan since the beginning in the 60s. I'm almost as old as John Fogerty. I saw him in concert here in Victoria, B.C., a couple of years ago, and I've got to tell you that he just keeps getting better and funkier all the time!

That's Billy Burnett playing rhythm on the

Black les Paul. His dad dorsey and uncle johnny were two of the founding fathers of rock n roll. Billy played with fleetwood mac and was a big country star in the early nineties and is a great guitar picker. John should give him more space to burn up some licks. Heck , even the name Rockabilly comes from him and his cousin rocky.

As much as I like Creedence, the stilted performance of this band shows that John was not Creedence. His sound has nothing of the original verve of the great American Band.

A song for nostalgia. But if he is recognizing it, then he should acknowledge his former bandmates instead of always trashing them to satisfy his insecurities

Actually, the truth is that the bass player and the drummer (the rhythm guitarist had already left by this stage) wanted 'equal rights'.....so, they contributed 3 songs each to CCR's last album, 'Mardi Gras'....and it was total shite - JOHN FOGERTY IS A ROCK GOD....end of story

Right you are there. Fogerty wrote the songs. In fact he's a great songwriter and guitar player.

But the main part of the sound of the Creedence is played by Doug Clifford. He was the one giving the rythm and leading the performance.
