I have just been to Bali and was singled out as a white female travelling on my own. I was hassled and picked on at the airport upon my departure. There are no rules, no reasoning, I did nothing wrong and had absolutely nothing on me except perfume which I brought duty free which was over the legal mls...wtf..They made me change bags for luggage. It was hot and I was sweating, the Customs questionned me why I was sweating, my heart dropped. I got home and read her book. She's innocent.

i watched 'ganja queen' on HBO tonight - first time i heard about all this - it's just heartbreaking. reminded me of the movie 'return to paradise' which hit me hard as well, but that was fiction - this case is just surreal. those little shittin' 3rd world countries piss me off, their legal systems suck, they should be boycotted!!

Yes the Bali police and prosecutors would not allow any forensic evidence to be taken of the marijuana or the bags it was packed in. Schapelle fought desperately to have DNA and fingerprint evidence taken to prove she had nothing to do with the drugs. And for good reason - Schapelle's old friends all report that Schapelle HATED drugs!! So as Schapelle says LOCK YOUR BAGS EVERYONE!
