  • This is fuckin' great! I liked the way you put your own twists into the riffs. That being said, Brian Blush was the shit, was he not?

  • @RandyMcDumpy Thanks for the comment - yes he was!

  • You're awesome :)

    I'm not :(

  • Very well done!

  • Back to listen again! I can't tell you how much I LOVE this song!

  • DAMN this is a great song!! Love the Refreshments!! Every song on this CD Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy is brilliant! Fantastic cover of one of my favorite 90s songs. Just love driving fast and listening to this CD. AWESOME Man!!!

  • Greg-what are you using for an amp? Or are your direct like (it seems) everyone else is-Line 6 kinda stuff, etc.??

  • @icitnow Well, normally I play through a Blues Junior and I just use a Tube Screamer, EQ, Overdrive, etc. For some of these effects, I am running everything through a Digitech 250 pedal and right into the Vid Camera (so I don't wake the neighbors...). I prefer the analog and tube sound, but the backing music comes through nice on this.

  • @ChapmanGreg Thanks! I need to do something else-I have a little Rickenbacker that's been ok for most stuff and a Ratt, a Boss SOD, and (mostly) using a Digitech (200). Its just that I can't play as loud with my wife son around as I want/need to. (with the backing track going) i'm thinking of getting something that's direct to the PC. I have a nice Super Reverb, but i have to move the car out of the garage and its too loud-unless wife/kid are out for a while. I'll try the direct to camera thing

  • @ChapmanGreg I use a Flipcamera and a reg. Sony camera to take video. could i connect somehow directly from the Digitech 200 to the camera(s)? How do you do it? Sorry to bug, but I am frustrated with this! I had about 4 songs I wanted to do this wk end and didn't do one because of this sound problem.

  • No problem. What I do is this - I pipe my iPod into the aux input of my pedal. I then run the "Headphone Out" from the pedal into the "mic" input of the vid cam. Then I plug my headphones into the headphone input of the vid cam so I can monitor everything. If your vid cam has a mic input and a headphone output, and your pedal has the same, you can do the same thing. Then just plug your guitar into the pedal, set your levels, and wail baby!

  • @ChapmanGreg Thanks my camera doesn't have the mic input but maybe the Flip does. not sure. I going to work on this and see what I can do! Thanks for the info!

  • oh man! I heard this song some ways back-wanted to hear it again-(maybe on XM?) and didn't. Now I know who it is! Its a great song! I love this kind of stuff! You're right-this one will definitely get the crowd fired up! Excellent job on this Greg!!!
