Me and my freshman roommate bought white christmas lights from a hardware store that was selling them cheap, and strung them up on the ceiling. It adds alot of warm character (assuming you get the warm white LED lights) to a room. Not sure how helpful that'd be with vlog lighting though.

Good luck in college, Charlie!  I know Notre Dame is not exactly the freakiest campus in America, but you should have no compunctions being your own flamboyant self! By the way your "non-Rekidk" voice is very nice too.
