There is a "plate" on the moon that the astronauts left that reflects light back to earth. Go to any observatory and they can "prove" it to you. I am guessing that even ameteur astronmers can also detect this.

Of all the moon photos there are only three of earth from the surface of the moon in the NASA archives; this is one of them AS17-134-20387; the first one was taken on Apollo 17 Nothing from the early flights except earth over the horizon shots. None from the surface. Moon=hoax

Maybe my knowledge of physics or re-entry procedure is not as good as I believe, however, Im fairly sure that any capsule or shuttle re-entering the atmoshpere will have air it in, and their will definitely be air in their suit.

So long as their is a medium to travel through within the craft, the vibration on re-entry WILL produce sonic waves, probably at such a low frequency that the astronuats would FEEL the sound more than hear it.
