  • Very, very useful tip! You just got a subscriber, sir! Greetings from Italy!

  • @TheMeol ...italy huh....thats good shit......if u ever have something u want to know about let me know...i'll do my best to help out....

  • You got your self a cocaine nail on your pinky?

  • @REMEGORAS .... ummm if u say so.... but wouldnt it take all night doing it that way??? theres not a ton of space in a nail like that.....

  • Cut to the chase, skip 'the preachy part'

  • nice vid buddy. I use my wet palette mainly for paint mixes, as that way I don't need to worry so much about recreating the same shade again, as I still have it usable in my pallette.

  • Oh its pretty simple then, no point paying $20 for Privateer Press's!!

Thanks man, just what i needed :)

  • @2347logan1 you are very welcome...thats the whole reason I started doing this in the first place, to help people. I mean I have all this knowledge stuck in my head an if a little can slip out an help someone then I did my job

  • I made mine almost the exact same way. The only thing I would suggest is that instead of buying all this special paper from an art store you can go to any grocery store and buy a roll of parchment paper, NOT wax paper its different and wax will not work. It HAS to be parchment paper, every grocery will have it for sure. I have a 10 meter roll I bought for $2 and it has lasted me 2+ years of painting. All you do is cut a sheet to fit your pallet and your good to go.

  • yeah wet palettes are real useful

  • warstore carries both the wet pallet and the paper for it.

  • Great video man! Now I've been getting back into painting my minis (and enjoying it, mostly thanks to great tips on YouTube) ... this one just adds to the gravy! Cheers, Viv.

  • Excellent idea man! Please keep up the good work! Asum.

  • Thanks Man that was verey cool!!!! Your keeping me out of my own head right now. I can't thank you enough!!! Peace Bro:)!

  • What I sometimes do, I put some watered down paint in a palet and then put a moist washcloth over it.

All you need to do when you get it out again is re-mix the paint again with a cocktail stick or something. It lasts a day, maybe 2 depending on how moist the washcloth is.

  • Great that you did this one.

everyone should try a wet pallet. I sprung for a privateer press one, but really, they are easy to make yourself.

    Keep em' comin.

  • glad to be of help and ya it thins nicely i dont thin allot but this makes it easy to fig out how thin ur going to go w/o putting water straight into the paint

  • Cheers bootleg this is exactly the vid I've been looking for.

  • glad to of been some help

  • you can use crappy "baking sheet paper" (dont know the English name for it) a wetex cleaning towel soaked in water with the baking sheet over =) works well

  • I think you mean cooking parchment paper.. I don't know if its the same but it certainly is thick enough and I think it comes wax free it would more then likely work and in Bootleg's words you can get it at the wally world for a couple of bucks
