I know she blinded, killed, and crippled someone, but she was trying to fit into troll society. She even felt remorse for doing some of the things she did, which Gamzee or Eridan didn't even do.

She WANTED to;she thought she could kill him but overestimated her powers. When Bec Noir was created, the prototyping the kids did also affected him and Jade lost the ring.
