True, the MMA game just like BJJ is always changing. The days of Gracie style fighters being able to run the board are over. But if the fight does go to the ground then it would most likely go to the BJJ guy if his school trained him at all on real life. At my school we get taught how to deal with people ground and pounding. If it's not practiced with contact then its worthless. I came into BJJ to improve my MMA game so punches don't shake me up as much as it would my peers.
