  • If you want to "thank" a soldier, then work tirelessly to get them out of harm's way and bring them home to their families. If Vietnam taught us anything, it is our Nation's blood should never be squandered.

  • I think I see Dubya, Rush, Dick, Newt, Foley....

  • @RandallFlaggNY Yep there is Cheney and man he is spoiling for a fight! Real gung ho killer!

  • FNG's

  • itis just as painful and devistating for a mother,or wife and frinds n relatives of a soldier killed in iraq or afghanistan as it was in the nam.keep that in mind.i hope n pray that america an the v a dont jerk these vets around. i was told by a ww2 vet in a american legion once that they won their war.korea vets also were forgoten once.dont let these iraq afghan hereos down.to beararms we had 58,370. kias. killed in action.support these iraq afghan vets. i served in icorps with 5th mrn rg. wia

  • WE ACTUALLY WON THE V WAR, I CAN PROVE IT.

  • people compare iraq to vietnam. difference is iraq war casualties 4,000

vietnam war casualties 55,000 sad really

  • @BEARARMZ ...well, every los is one to many

  • @MrCalathea We never lost... Can you name one... just one military egagement we lost. Our pig politicians lost it!!!!

  • @lonedove1981 ...allright, but i meant loss of life.....

  • @MrCalathea I agree... This war is just one reason I believed that JFK was shot... but that is a different topic. Take care.

  • @BEARARMZ You forgot the 2 million Vietnamese, and the 2 million Lao and Cambodians..

  • ..'sad how we lost he/she said..even sadder how we got there to begin with..the usual gov't. litany of lies, fear mongering, etc...it would have made Joseph Goebbels proud...

  • sad how we lost

  • i thanked a vietnam vet a while back, he told me i was the first person to ever thank him for his service. thats really sad..

  • What I saw were mostly young men who wanted to be somewhere else and they did what was asked of them anyway. The protesters as always took the low road, they attacked people who had no choice when they should have been focusing on Mr. Johnson and McNamara. The "protesters" did the same thing during the Iraqi war, attacking families of the fallen with child like logic. These "manchildren" will never get it.

  • It is interesting to note that the culture differences between the US and Australian Armies

  • ha so bush finaly anounced tat sadam had nothing to do with 911 how does that make you all feel to be mind fucked by the president of the usa gotta love our goverment fucking communist's

  • @ji9mpopin Saddam had to go.

  • I think the spitting on Vietnam Vets was very rare. I returned from Vietnam in Nov 68 as a Sgt in the USMC. If someone had spit on me I would have tore their freaking throat out. Guarantee it!!

  • remarkable if you were there; remarkable if you were a girl waiting forn your return.

  • thank someday again those heroes of Viet Nam. they came back and got spat on..i know i was there. they were my friends, my lovers, my childhood friends. america, please say thank you.

  • @laff2010 There has never been any documented spitting incident that occurred. "Spitting" incidents are urban legend.

  • greenhornet270 my gradpapa served in the 72th air bore medical unit he said it was hell on earth.

  • I came in through Cam Rahn in 1968....hot miserable place; unwinnable war; total lie started the whole war....60,000 of us killed for nothing...Burn in Hell LBJ and McNamara

    Rob Combs

    Sergeant USAF

    1968-69

    Nha Trang AB

  • can't thank these men enough for there sacrifice

  • thank the men in Iraq now...thank a soldier. That's what we want. some thanks for us risking our lives for what we believe. "Freedom is not free,"

  • @SpecOpsFighter but it's not freedom your opion is vaild but so are others and no man is truely free even adam in the bible is not free nor is god all the americans were fighting for no matter how much you strees it was them selfs they were fighting for their opion on civiliation of capitolism over the vietnamise communist view so in a way all wars are thought for oppresion ( p.s this is just my opion and means no offence to you or anyone else)

  • @SpecOpsFighter Didn't mean to offend the typical American "pride" but isn't it frivolous to fight for your country's freedom by killing/waging wars in another country?
