well. ive been a guitar player longer than a dj, and I would imagine, it would go like this... turn table to the "send" of any effect box, and the "out" from the fx would run into the mixer. although you would need 1/4 to rca cables.

dude, he is mixing with rane serato scratch live. this is a software and the vinyls are timecode ones.

There is a bpm-counter integrated in that software!

The white thing on his mixer is actually a guitar-effect!
