Anstatt 8 pleule werden hier nur 2 verwendet ! 1.Problem was hier auftreten kann ist eine zu große Belastung der Pleuelenden wegen der erhöhten Vibrationen der Wippen. 2. Problem ,die volle Kraftausschöpfung der einzelnen Explosionen ist fraglich ! Ich kann mir vorstellen das die an der Pleul liegenden Kolben zwar die Kraft zu 100 % weitergeben, aber was ist mit den äußeren Kolben ? ....
I expect this motor would make a staggering amount of torque with the outer pistons physically pulling up the inner pistons rather than the crank pushing them up via the conrod. High RPM perhaps not but very high torque for certain.
Looks very interesting, I'm curious if this is just an innovative idea or if there is actually a benefit from this construction as well? (lighter and simpler crankshaft for example?)

Wouldn't there be a concentration of heat between the two inner cylinders as opposed to between an outer and inner cylinder?

It takes a pretty clever guy to design something like this. There is no word for the guy who actually builds it and makes it run. Nicely done.
