Well we are allfans of Steve Austin, it would be good to see a Quality version either movie or series. I read Kevin Smiths script/story it was pretty much an episode script. Steve would pretty much be all bionics and just heart and brain like Marcus Wright. Well Steve's skeletal structure would need an overhaul. To the next person to read and comment, what do you think would be better, Steve to be part bionic like in the novels and show, or to have his brain implanted in an entire bionic (android) body? If they go partial they had better not forget he will need a metal spine and back muscles or, oops!!

This is so stupid! Will Smith is not a good actor. He get's work because white people in Hollywood like him. He's easy to work with, but when I think good acting I don't think Will Smith. Say what you will about Lee Majors acting, but he was PEREFCT for the part on TV. What's next a white guy as SHAFT? Steve Austin should be WHITE and probably a good "unkown" actor.

I'm glad Jim Carrey passed and I hope Chris Rock will as well (if he hasn't already). I want a serious movie, not some half-assed parody. There were rumours about either Leo or Brad for the role, but I don't know if that's true or not.

It's not that it's 'fake'; more that it's 'not official'. A friend of a friend works there and says they started pre-production and never got Will Smith on board, so the whole thing may be aborted. But he got this anyway and I think he's hoping a groundswell of support could make it happen. Regardless, it's cool to see a teaser for a film that may never be made...
