Hi I was wondering if you want to buy an off shoulder top what size should you get? Would you get one size bigger than your normal size? Ex- i search for tops in the S section ( small ) would I look for the off the shoulder top in the M section?( medium )

@MsLc1234 you have to know how to do it right. i've been doing it for a long time and i dont just cut it and leave it like some people here on youtube. I actually sew it just like places where you buy them from so it looks just the same only difference is i spent $2 on a cheap big tshirt and turned it into what shes wearing and i saved about 15-20$ and it looks just the same.

i make my own! take a big t-shirt and cut the neck of the shirt off and cut just the front of the shirt down a little further to make it a scoop-neck. then i like the part that goes around my stomache and back to be tighter so i turn the shirt inside out and sew the sides closer together, cut the extra part hangin out off. and i love how they turn out. =]

@wholisa23 The thing is, with off the shoulder tops, girls with smaller chests tend to look better because usually the shirt is a bit baggy. So I'd say find one that is a little tight around the waist so you get that hourglass look.

I think people should just make their own off the shoulder shirts. I find it more original to make regular shirts into off the shoulder shirts. I hate crew necks because they suffocate me, so I usually just cut it and make it into an off the shoulder shirt. I just bought a unisex shirt that's a crew neck, but once I cut it...no more manliness!
