rofl. drinking coke just shows what those riders seperate from any amateur rider. it's not the food, food suppliments or hell even the best gear --- it's hard training and investing most of your time into riding.
@LukowichUchevatov The Tour is a closed course event and therefore riders are exempt from such bylaws. What part of the world are you in where littering is punishable by a $500 fine?
if you look closely, after he uses his mouth, the lever to open the lid is already up, when he uses his hands, the lever probably came off that was why he threw it away 0:14 lever is already up
Ok?:)
To be fair, the other guy is actually driving a car right next to a cyclist. It's not like he should take his concentration away from the road to open a can of coke either.
@LoopSwap another norwegian telling the world how proud he is just because his from the same country as a famous person. if i got a nickel every time...
It's the moron in the car's fault. Ofc he should open the f***ing coke. The pro cyclists can't use their jercy seconds for opening some soda. I'm sure u can't open a coke anywhere, also when not cycling a couple of 100 miles, so please be quiet.
at that moment he is finishing his greatest stage in his whole career. a heavy sprinter first up two mountains with a huge lead in the hardest stage of the tour. why bother with the coke then?
haha. Funny. But if you look at it, it's one of those "swollen cans". You know, where the top protrudes out and makes it hard to open anyway, let alone when you're trying to ride in the Tour De France. I hate that. No wonder he threw it.
@cyclingfan55 It's prob the that it's in a moving car getting shaken around and stuff. I don't know why the dude in the car couldn't have opened for him. haha.
@Slimcase85 so your saying thor hushovd doesnt have a lead out train? you obviously dont know anything, and cavendish is just so far ahead you dont see thors lead out train, cavendish owns hushovd in a straight sprint
@Gh0stFilms Check your facts, he does have a lead out train, in a straight sprint, cavendish is far better, as we saw on the champs eleysees 2010 were cav had no lead out at all, and he completely destroyed hushovd who had guys in the lead up to the straight and one guy on the straight, while cavs train got swallowed up, but still he destroyed hushovd
@tennisrulesok no doubt cav is better in a straight sprint, but he is what, 10 years younger? and cav can only do straight sprints, he cant ride classics and cobbles like hushovd cant, dont try to compare then, cav has 3 men commited to helping him, hushovd has 1 when hes lucky.
@Denmarkpwns He didn't have any team mates on the final stage of last year's Tour de France but he still ripped everyone's legs off! I was always a bit sceptical of Cav because of his 'need' for his team but he changed my mind that day!
@Slimcase85 you fark tard take a closer look on the sprint videos Thor is always behind cav and he still loses 80% of the time.....simply put, Thor is on cavendish's TRAIN
@kohchenyee Do you have any idea how this sport works? Cav is great, and in 2011 the fastest of the two by far. Thor is becoming more allround these days, and is not aiming for the sprints. However, Cav always had (and has) a team that supports him not only the last meters - they support him through the entire stage. You are talking about the train running the last 500 meters, and forgetting Cavendish have been supported for 190 kilometers before that train even goes.
Hehe... I noticed that too. I figured he probably broke the pin off when he tried with his hands ...or perhaps he`s just not that good at opening cans.
Briiliant stage from a green jersey-rider though, and a great tour taking the poiints-shirt with virtually no help from his team in the mass sprints.
I agree. Cavendish has had a lot more help than Thor (like the final stage yesterday). And I think Thor really deserves tjhe green yersey. It speaks for itself.
@2kDoom I disagree, Cavendish won it this year because of great teamwork, and how cavendish is helped in position by:martin, renshaw is just very good teamwork. Thor can be better in everythink, he won the rainbow jersey, but for sprinting, you will need to be in a team that is going for green or you just can't win it.
Hahaha, nice going not to open the box before handle him that. But i guess his head was so tired after beeing in lead over two 1 cat. mountains as a sprinter. hehe. He should probably stay with botles. hahaha.
