  • I know someone by the name of Caroline. I am not sure she will; like this song (it's quite loud) but may be she likes the idea that someone famous did call a song after her (the occasion anyway is oke).

  • tres bon

  • look at the cord messing wow!ithese days players are heaven

  • Great rack...shame they were probably charlied / pissed out of their heads while they performed it at live though.

  • Not the same with them on stage without the leads! Rock on!!

  • Unforgettable!!! Hard Rock Cafe catered London event. I was an 18 y/o busboy pulling plates amongst musical genius!!! A magical day for sure.

  • is the best group in the world

  • I've seen Bob Geldof interviewed about this where he and Midge Ure agonised about who was going to kick off the London side of Live Aid until they remembered that they had the greatest good time party band in the world down the road...QUO!

  • Considering they were out of their minds on coke and don't remember playing this set, it's pretty epic...

  • does exactly what it says on the tin, straight up ballsy, headbangin good time no fuckin frills rock n roll....status quo

  • I love Quo I've seen them two times and I can say that they are THE BEST GOD DAM LIVE BAND EVER TO ROCK and or ROLL. Rick gave me his pick at a Toronto gig.I was up at the stage and told him he was a god.QUO 4ever

  • a great entertainer rossi, and awesome, if you aint seen them live, do it, you wont regret it

  • Guck mal, die haben ja Kabel an den Gitarren *kopfkratz*

  • stupid kamera boy...

  • Fantastic, and great to see the old Wembley stadium.

  • They may be old men now but can still rock

  • This is as good as it gets as an example of talented rock stars enjoying their music and performing to vast crowds. Dont forget that when Quo (and other very talented musicians were performing) the money was relatively irrelevant. They enjoyed entertaining people. Just waitch them..

  • I thought, they play rock; n roll....

If you play any instrument, Mostly the first thing you learn, is that....... Off classics....

  • Quo were renowned for enjoying certain substances (Parfitt less so) so it was inevitable that Rossi would change the words . They were lucky the Metropoltan Police left them alone.

  • things go better with Coke ha ah ha ha they are all off their tits

  • i prefer the winners of x-factor

    hehehehehe!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Saw them yesterday in Munich, Germany ... 90 minutes of pure rock - they sure rock'd the hell out of that hall !

  • awesome. i'm not even a big quo fan but they were brilliant that day. thanks for the video.

  • this was the 1st song i ever mastered on the electric guitar and you shud have heard me in my bedroom lol walls shaking with my 150w amp and floors banging with my giving it large lol When i saw them when i was 13 i said Im gonna be them and sure thought i was them in my room lol Drove my mum and dad crazy :o

  • @memmnock Same here im 13 and i heard this song at the start of the year and now ive mastered it on electric guitar

  • "gou rick this is a favorite i hope"!

  • GREAT song ever!!!!*****

  • stupid camermen why cant they keep their distance from guitar players

but otherewise great performance keep rocking guys!

  • I bent my mums ear that day on the fone..i was working and kept phoning to say DONT FORGET TO RECORD THE QUO!..listened to it live on the radio then popped home on my lunchbreak to watch the video...great memories..legendary line up,legendary band.

  • thay there drunk!!

  • holy shit how many people is there?

  • In my mind between 130.000 and 170.000 people

  • Nah, the original Wembley Stadium had a gig capacity of 72,000 people, but the TV audience more than made up for that

  • Still sends shivers down my spine even after all these years.

  • Comment removed

  • Rossi doesn't half talk gibberish at the mike!!

  • @thesnowdens Probably cos hes pissed

  • he does - probably because of a certain white powder he took. anyway, still a good guitar player and the quo are still rocking on.

  • So loud it caused interference on the picture.

  • fucking love the quo. total powder heads. see the wry rubbing of franis' nose at the beginning of the vid. high a fucking kite at live aid so he is!! yaaaaaaaaasssssssssssss!!!

  • Live bands - first among equals!! Experience counts for everything QUO are legends!

  • Great stuff,

  • "can you find time for *lunch*"!! 1:35

  • rossi is known to change the words in songs, like sometimes in Burning Bridges he says 'i can't escape this Ricky in my ears' or in Don't waste my time instead of saying, 'sitting with my head hanging down', he'll say, 'sitting with my legs going brown'. haha. he's excellent to watch live and has a good sence of humour

  • in the army now: "smiling faces as you wait to land, but once you get their no one gives a damn" but he turns "damn" to "shit"

  • @rockerstar101 ...or treating me just like a twit...:-)

  • @rockerstar101 Or, 'treating me just like a twit'....;-)

  • @rockerstar101 i had that problenm,in my case it was cocaine!!! yu think of bvetter words on stage simple as that-btw the piano on this, the boogie woogie in verse 2 is a peach

  • the cameraman should have been shot the stupid prick

  • 1988 started with Whatever you want.....it kinda worked as everyone went mad at the beginning anyway but Caroline is the only song worthy of an opener!!

  • I completely agree. with Caroline you get the greetings of the 2 guitars then the band enter. Plus the moment Rick strikes the fist chord, it's 0-100mph is a second

  • ricks arm was caught by cable

    now on dvd and video

  • What on earth is camerman doing at 0:24?

  • am i right in saying this is one of the only gigs they haven't started with this (since it was written obv)

  • Might actually be true. What's Rick doing in the beginning? Wrong sound? :P

  • If you look closely the Camerman gets too close and Ricks hand gets caught in a cable of the camera.

  • No they used to start with Juniors Wailing ;)

  • nah they started loads of gigs with different songs..rockin all over the world tour started with raotw

  • yeah i can think of a few exceptions. alothough a vast majority of Quo gigs, start with Caroline
