all n95's n n82 have the same proccessor.

so no matter which one of those units you match up against the n96 they'll all beat it.

but still n96 is a lot better for me in terms of usabilty and design wise.

What do you mean by usability? Because, the flat N96 keyboard is pure suffering... Its slide mechanism is hard as hell... Its weak UI performance is so annoying... the very only advantage it has over the N95 is the newer software and the larger capacity...

i like typing on the n96 a lot better than the n95 coz the n95 have those little bumps on the side of the keypad wich hinders me from pressing all the left keys because of me being a lefty and having a long thumbnail.

Yes, the performance is slower than n95 but the functions are better.

and so far with more than 12 gb used on my memory, ive never encountered a hang/freeze.

i recently had a game on my n95 8GB, (asfalt 3d from gameloft) and it ran terrible. framrate droped to 5-8 fps, and the phone whas brand new. after instaling the latest firmware all whas fine. so... is my case it whas a sofware problem... i think. and the framerate now is great, it runs perfectly.

The N95 looks like its running loads better. They put a slower processor in the N96.

Seems like it. On paper, it's supposed to be better, maybe? They both have dualcore processors. N96 has ARM9 264MHz, whereas N95 has ARM11 332Mhz. The ARM9 is supposed to be faster when running similar speeds, but for some reason its performance falls fairly short in comparison... Of course, sans graphics chip takes it's toll as well.
