@marinepride1775 i'd like to point out that the marines weren't even involved with D-Day, which i would say is one of, if not the, most important battle america's fought. you name a battle the marines won, i can name 2 the army won. and marines may know how to use bayonets but i'm pretty sure they use them in combat just as often as the army...never. and out of the 10 marines i saw while i was at Ranger School, 8 dropped out. that's 80% drop out rate, much higher than the army's
