  • My wife was about 16 and really fucking high, apparently, when she found out that Dread Zeppelin broke up. She's still waiting for that bad trip to end.

  • ...and that was EXACTLY the point.

  • 0:25 makes laugh

  • That isn't Godzilla! It's FREAKING RODAN!!!! And Rodan rocks BTW as it doesn't need a stairway to get to heaven, it just flies there. ;)

  • GREAT - just GREAT !!!

  • Saw Dread Zeppelin live in Montreal back in the 90's... their opening act was Mojo Nixon. What a night that was!!!!

  • @ve2vfd Saw the same line-up in Sydney. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

  • This was amazing. I can't believe it took me this long to find it.

  • It's too long...I couldn't finish.

  • @thebp9999 It IS a bit lengthy.

  • dread was a band i loved to listen to on med deployments during the cold war. loved to sit on a rocket launcher and blow dime storm bubbles at the tourist and russians with dread blareing from the boom oh yes, im a fuggin diplomat.....

  • BIG IN JAPAN!

  • dread is the band

  • Music so powerful, levels whole cardboard cities in twenty minutes. (under three feet tall)

  • Fuckin' great!!! :)

  • bell' arrangiamento, attualissimo

  • GODZIRRA!

  • @DagnabitDad

One night in the early 90's, I was a young teen at a party with older high school kids. Got to drink, got to smoke (you know), got to make out with a REALLY hot girl. Dread's StH started playing on the radio. Remember thinking; 1) beer tastes fantastic 2)This girl was SO hot! and 3) Dread is just the coolest. Next morning, as I barfed my spleen into the toilet, I realized:

    1) Beer tastes like shit coming out

    2) That chick was ugly as hell actually

    3) Dread was still DAMN cool.

  • @starstarstar42 I am honored!!!

  • @starstarstar42 thats to friggin funny

  • @starstarstar42 Been there, done that. Fucking loved it!

  • @starstarstar42 YAYY !!

    School of Hard Knocks

  • 1:01 Japanese dance!!!! u just cryed laughting

  • give b

me the strairyay to heaven song!!!!!

  • Awesome, sounds cool. It's got that different feel but it suits the way they played the song.

  • JAJAJJAJAJAJAJAJAJJAJA

  • umm... thats Rodan.

    You guys are silly.

  • @egdeltur666 Godzilla's agent asked too much for the shoot!

  • ""Shot entirely in Tokyo""

I might have some prejudice towards Indonesia, but... Why do I always have the impression that these 35+ years old Japanese fiction catastrophe TV Series are actually Indonesian documentaries on real events in Java, Sumatra or somwhere in the Sonda islands?

Like if my brain identified everything that happened in Japanese fiction as TV-show versions of real-life catastrophes in Java, Sumatra or in the islands of Sonda.

  • @Glitch385 Another thing that amazes me on a completely different note is.... Why is it that of the millions and millions of videos on youtube, the one of the reggae band doing Led Zeppelin covers with an Elvis impersonator on lead vocals, has the most intelligent comments?

What does that say about our country? Our world?

  • sorry guys it's not Godzilla footage they're using - it's RODAN (like anyone's really gonna care!)

  • @bored1ca Apparently people still have trouble telling the difference between Dinosaurs and Pterosaurs.

It's far more than a little distressing, to say the least. They probably can't tell shit from shinola either.

  • @bored1ca I think it was a copyright issue. I'm not kidding...

  • @dreadzeppelindottv They joked about that copyright issue in Austin Powers 3 too. Apparently it's impossible to use any sort of image from godZIRRA. Maybe that's why the Godzilla movie of the 90s was just a movie of an awful looking iguanna?

  • This is 10x better than original.

  • fuck no, please die.

  • they did not do that to stairway

  • Love Zep...and they are Zep. Love the dread part too. (: ~cg5

  • There is no better than Tortelvis. Even Robert Plant praises him. These guys aren't just another cover band and shouldn't be compared to one. They make the music their own. And they own it all the way! I've never heard this version from them. Is it a new one in a future album? It's awesome!

  • Jim Morrison! Then we could have been "Dead" Zeppelin. Boooo ha ha ha ha!!!

  • Have you been able to check out "Dubside of the Moon" ? It is a reggae cover band that does Pink Floyd tunes.

Very awesome album, just as awesome as dred zep.

  • @dreadzeppelindottv hahaha :-) or meatloaf...fat zeppelin

  • Awesome xD , i was rolling on floor and laughing! I love Led Zeppelin , but Dread Zeppelin is rasta style xD

  • i think its great

  • :50 is hysterical!!!

  • One night in 1989 in the Keys I drove to join some friends& a south florida station played this song. I looked up, but no UFO hovered over my car. I really WAS listening to Elvis' velvet smooth voice jamming nicely with a tight Reggae band, jamming nicely with Led Zepplin guitar licks. been a dread zep fan ever since. at least as far as I could SEE that night there was no UFO. and far as I KNOW all band members are of this world. who cares where they hail from. I like their muse.

  • That is a truly beautiful story.

  • WOW!!!!!1111!!!1awesome
