These are the reasons why I have been dragging my 72' Stingray all over the place fr the last 11 years. Ever y time I read someone saying things like this, or every time I fill up somewhere, or wash her in public, someone always has a "used to have" or "should have kept" story. I never want to find myself in this position, and hearing everyone else reiterates this. Thank you for reminding me why I keep the car, even when I am frustrated and ready to sell.

I drove my Dads 67 Goat all over Miami, no guy in that town could touch it, my 1st husband told me, when my Dad was going to give me the car for ..01 cent, we could not afford the insurance, I hated that man for the rest of our life together, should have got the Goat then and divorced him, and I would still have that car, idiot, :(

beautiful car man. i got a 66 lemans. original gold with a cream vinyl top. i just dropped a stroked 400 in. gotta love those these monster torque motors. i tell people i have about 380 horsepower. they dont know about the 500 pounds of torque though haha.

@1966pontiacpower haha the power you can get out of these motors is incredible, i never had it on a dyno but i usually estimate 450-475 hp and god knows how much torque haha a real beast

Your car looks great, I too have a red 67 GTO, they look almost identical. Pontiac never made a "big" block like others, their block is considered a Mid-block, not big or small like chevy or Ford. The 326, 389, 400, 421, 455 are al the same block, just different bore and strokes. Awesome car

hey bro beautiful car. i too have a 67 455 GTO mine is emerald green tho with a four speed/ i had someone tell me that pontiac never made a big block whats youre thoughts on this? He had said that the casting from 326 389 the 400 and 455 is same size. i dont care if its true i will always say mine has a big block but whats youre thoughts? ive had mine for 8 years and have had it at car shows with big block on my display board and not once been corrected so whats ur opinion and good luck on sale

@dajudge1969, There are no small or big block Pontiac's, the blocks are all the same dimensions, just bore,stroke, and main size differences. A 350, 400, 428, 455 blocks are all the same size and weight.

i think people refer to it as big block by bore journal size and displacement i have a 67 GTO 455 have had it for about 8 years and have had it at shows with big block writen on my dispay sigh and no one ever corrected me but hey its cool small block big block it dont matter gotta love these motors

I knew someone who had a 1967 Pontiac GTO. It was in mint condition. No telling what the car was worth. His wife didn't like the car and made him get rid of it. In less than a year; his wife dumped him.
