@Deidara360 I think it's just more fun. It can be easier to take advantage of the shoryuken shortcut b/c of the square gate. The shortcut omits the forward motion, so you only have to input down-towards, down, down-towards to execute. That means w/ a square gate you just have to slide it along the bottom. Other moves like Chun's lightning legs are easier for me, too, b/c I can press the buttons faster with my fingers than my thumb. The sticks are also a blast to mod with art, parts, etc.

@Deidara360 YES, anybody who has tried to use a fight stick will tell you this. You get a MUCH better feel for the movement of your character and the buttons make executing moves and combos a lot easier. If you're really serious about playing Street Fighter then you need a fight stick.

If You want a PC Arcade Joystick you should look for someone who actually builds them. I found many on the internet, they were built with the Original Arcade buttoms , so they actually last long. You can bash it mercilessly it wont break, the MadCatz on the other hand is way weak. My friends got their Arcade Joystick for like, 200 (reais, brazilian currency, that would be around 80 dollars ). And the best part ist that its totally customizable. You can even choose the Joystick`s Layout.

The buttons are more durable.. My standard buttons started having problems about 3-4 months after buying the stick. The Sanwa joystick just feels so much better.. My standard used to stick frequently. If you get the Sanwa joystick you will instantly feel the difference after you throw your 1st fireball..

I have a SE stick and after putting sanwa buttons in you really can tell the difference. Buttons are smooth and effortless, linking moves is incredibly easy with these buttons. I had the SE stick. The buttons and stick felt cheap. I sold it and got myself a TE stick. Even though it's 2x more expensive, the quality is 1000x better. The TE stick is really worth the extra money. When you move the TE's Sanwa JLF stick, it feels **MUCH** better than the SE or any other home console stick. The buttons have no spacing or difference in height when pressed. They are very responsive.

There is nothing wrong with them. Although the SE version has a horrible Hori joystick and loose buttons. The TE version is on point. They use Sanwa Joysticks and Seimatsu buttons which are the exact same joysticks and buttons you find in the arcades. If you get an SE, just upgrade the joystick and you'll be set. The TE is perfect from the get go.

Do not pay over the retail price for the TE version. Madcatz is restocking all through March, April, and May. Retail price for these are only $150.00 and they are very much worth it if you dont know how to build your own box.
