  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III: Revan's Fate

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III: Revan's Return

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III: Revenge of the Sith Lords

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III: Revan's Revenge

These are the names i suggest if there ever is a KotOR 3

  • @L33Ennis funny part is that Revan has returned if you played Old Republic

  • KoTOR 3 pl0x or GTFO!

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic is nothing like KoToR, The combat system is completely different, and it only hints at the previous stories, with Taris and Revans Tomb

  • 1:40

"All life… exists to feed your power, and my life… my life is yours. I beg you… please… let me die."

    Visas to Darth Nihilus

  • I actually liked this game more than KOTOR 1...the story was very imaginative and interesting...I have both versions for PC and Xbox! :p

  • @LegoWaffles11 kotor 2 is more dark and suspense kotor one is the typical hero story for star wars u know.

  • @slipknot3597 at least kotor 1 had something you could call an end

  • @LegoWaffles11 i like kotor2 better than kotor also. i like on kotor2 each time you play through the game it is different (the items in containers and items you can buy in shops are random as opposed to the first kotor in which the items are fixed no matter what). kotor 2 also had better music thaan the first and i liked the option to create items and also be able to upgrade most items(which you could not do on the first kotor). this game was epic.

  • Great song. Brings out the epicness and good sotryline of KOTOR 2... And makes you think of the changes of the gameplay between 1 and 2. Like "where did revan go?" "Who is the exile?" "where did darth nihilus com from?". I love this song...

  • Does anyone know where I can download these songs?

  • do you find ithorians at this place

  • Luckily I just got this on pc so I am able to experience a lot of the missed content :)

  • @Narutoonepiecefan3 You just got it?

Congratulations, you've just bought my most favourite game ever :)

    Enjoy!

  • I disagree if you say that kotor 2 is bad ... cause it's not it's very mysterious .. more than kotor 1 but kotor 1 has the most epic story

  • I spent so much time playing through Kotor 1 and 2, over and over again. Thanks for the music, brings back a lot of good memories, excellent quality.

  • Does anyone know where I can download the full HQ soundtrack?

  • Kotor 2 is undeniably one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure, no, HONOR to play. It would've been unmatched in its perfection if it weren't for the damn Christmas rush that plagues the industry.

  • @xxHellBoundVampireXx tried it ,its awesome imagine when they gonna impliment droid planet in it (master vash will be alive and kicking)

Anyway LucasArts killed the game because they pushed obsidian too much and they had to cut alot of content because of the deadline

  • Even though most people think this is a lot more worse than Kotor 1, I think it is almost as great as the first game. It was done so well, the dark and depressed feeling really comes through and it really has its own atmosphere. One that makes me tingle whenever I think about it. No other game even comes close to the atmosphere of the Kotor games. Period.

  • @Dennis23BAL That's true. Hey, have you tried playing KoTOR 2 with the Restored Content 1.6 patch? It makes the game have so much more to reveal to the player. It makes the game complete... If you didn't by now, you should definitely check it out.

  • Comment removed

  • @xXHellBoundVampireXx I've just finished playing Kotor 1 and I'm gonna start playing Kotor 2 now. I hope this patch will be as good as you say.. :)

  • I just wanted to say thanks for all the kind comments about the game and my music. This game was my first big video game score with live orchestra and I was very excited to be a part of it.

  • @markgriskey are you really markgriskey?

  • I like the sad piano part

  • hd remake of kotor 1 kotor 2 remade by bioware in hd and ill be happy.

  • one of the greatest games ive ever played

  • Getting this one for Xmas! I only have the first one and I really like it.

  • Oh my god, memories.

  • Thank god i am able to play this after all these years

  • @jerrylu23 Lucky ass...XD i only have the 1st one.

  • There's something about this music that echoes the game very well, unlike the first one which had a welcoming universe, this was far more foreboding

  • Keep pressing 0... 0.... 0...

  • Indeed. If they re released both game remastered that would be awesome. But we won't see it in our lifetime. They're prepping for the MMO.

  • Lucas and bioware could make millions by making HD remakes with all deleted contents restored. Then to top it off release KOTOR 3.

  • @Dinowarrior21 I would totally buy that.

  • @Vkkhamul

    and I'd buy that twice!!!

    love kotor so much

too bad they are releasing this cartoon-like swtor...

  • @GriboedovAnton Wait until you can use AA in The Old Republic, it will make an difference - See Signs of War trailer and Fate of Galaxy Trailer with Darth Malgus NPC.

  • @cheetafist

i want my singleplayer kotor 3 anyway

or an hd remake of kotor 2

  • @Dinowarrior21 That would be the smart thing to do, which is why it wont happen.

  • There is no emotion, there is peace.

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.

There is no passion, there is serenity.

There is no chaos, there is harmony.

There is no death, there is the Force.

  • @Banelocc Peace is a lie, there is only Passion.

    Through Passion, I gain Strength.

    Through Strength, I gain Power.

    Through Power, I gain Victory.

Through Victory, my chains are broken.

The Force Shall Set Me Free!

  • @AnimeFreakster1354 No that's incorrect

    The Force Shall Free Me!

  • Loved these games so much. I didn't exactly remember this one's campaign so I spent 2 whole days trying to get it to work again. (The game no longer works by itself due to it's age)

  • Why can't they just make a third one... These games were SO good. Best RPGs I've ever played.

  • kotor 2 has pretty much the best soundtrack to any game ive played.

  • The beginning parts sounds like Batman's theme.

  • KotOR 3... WHY YOU NO SHOW UP. Plus a remake would turn me insainly adicted for years.

  • @jerrylu23 the old republic is the continuation of it. december 20 bro

  • @clonefan ONLY FOR PC :(

  • @XxSavrenxX not weird, a mmo has to be on a pc. MMO on ps3, xbox...is just a shame.

  • @clonefan no they only have a side mission for Revan's disappearance. KOTOR 3 would be better

  • @Couyon45 they tell you all about what happened to revan. He went to stop the incoming imperial invasion, plus the book coming out has more info :D

  • 2:32 MAAAAAAAAN!!!!!

  • this music is pure art. it creates emotion while also giving the game a 'star warsy' theme.

  • KoToR I & II relate (at least to me) to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. The first ones (KoToR I & OoT) were great games and more adventurous and feel-good. The sequels though stayed true to the game mechanics we all loved but had a far deeper and darker storyline. I personally enjoy the sequels more, but the sequels would not exist without the great originals.

  • kotor 1 seemed to have a more star wars-like feel than Kotor 2. i always found kotor 2 to be very dark, especially the sequences in Nar Shaddaa with the refugees

  • I agree with the statements about kotor 2 being a darker version. Everything about this game had a darker theme. The ambience, the music, the characters and their pasts, (exile/atton).

  • 8 people are Star Trek fans

  • Kotor 1 had a feel-good adventurous type of play - and Kotor 2 introduced us to the darker sides of the force.

  • i dont care what anybody says both kotor 1 and 2 were epic no matter thier faults

  • @SolusLord both games has flaws, just like the star wars movies themselves,i still play them to this very day and i still love them, Thumbs up for SWTORs release at christmastime ^^

  • Yes!

  • @SolusLord what faults? The great story, The cool battlesystem or the epic charackters?

If you find faults in this game you should not play computer games.

  • @SolusLord KotOR 1 was one of the greatest games of all time, but KotOR 2 wasn't even a full game.. :\

  • @SolusLord *Highfive*

  • @SolusLord Wholeheartedly agreed. The KOTOR series were the best experience in my life. The story is unforgettable, and the nostalgia right now is nearly too much to handle.

  • @SolusLord Thats why they should make kotor 3. I know tor is sorta like the third in the series but i want a game thats free to play not paying each month.

  • @SolusLord the only thing bad i can say about either is that kotor 2 was buggy due to the game being rushed. (although i don't know if that is bad as it makes interesting glitches in the game, the item duplication w/ visas marr can be helpful). it would have been nice to go to planet M4-78, though i know that there is a MOD out to allow you to do that.

  • apathy is death

  • 7 people like KOTOR 1

  • i'd kinda like remakes of the two kotor games where my character says the dialogue. please bioware, make it happen

  • how do i play this game with windows 7

  • @IamMrLk look up a solution on google or youtube

  • @pokercards101 i hav on google and now im trying youtube see if any one anwsers

  • lol did anybody ever thought about the fact that the traya in darth traya is the feminen of trayus in latin... trayus core with darth traya... just sayin :p

  • Its a damn shame I can't play this with shitty Vista :C

  • @bigwitcher28 yes you can. I'll tell you where u can find it. i once had an xbox but now its broken and i had the game for xbox but not for pc so i downloaded it (illigaly but i already bought it) with µtorrent and that shit. wel just go to kickasstorents com search for knights of the old republic gbus edition (you will find the game to download) but in these files you will also find a fix ;) u can just download that fix and follow the instructions on how to make it work :p. hope this helps ;)

  • i wish they finished kotor 2 or at least released the missing chapters lol i still want to find that damned assassin droid factory

  • This was the only game to make me cry though music.

  • Kotor 2 was good, it could of been great if all the content was cut. The atmosphere in this game was simply amazing.

  • Was this the London Symphony Orchestra?

  • 2:30 - 2:39 most epic music ever

  • I thought the story was alot better in kotor 2 than kotor 1.

  • @OutoftheblueNinja but the gameplay was worse

  • Comment removed

  • I love this theme music...it's not an imposing march like Darth Vader's theme, but rather seems to be a meditation on the darkness lurking in every human heart.

  • By what reason should people dislike this?

  • GOD DAMN IT!!! Why cant i find this soundtrack or KOTOR 1 soundtrack anywhere?!?!

  • i just began kotor 2 and i really love it, like kotor 1! :)

at the moment im on teros and ive just met the darth maul look-a-like ... :)

  • actually, when restoring all the content to the game through the mods, the game turns quite badass

  • Loved KOTR and KOTR 2. Am looking forward to Old Republic but as anyone who has played WOW knows MMO can have rude mouthy kids that ruin the experience, would have preferred another solo game but oh well.

  • i always though that the story line for Kotor 2 was more Star Wars-ish... kinda hard to explain, but you know the right sense of drama about it... felt very true to the originals somehow.... im babiling both great great games!! still play them now :D

  • @uhaveachode1 I felt that opposite way, KotoR 2 to me was the least Star Wars-like game (which is a good thing, I usually don't like the Star Wars universe much but loved KotoR 2), it challenged basic black-white morality, the story was more personal, characters and tone were a lot darker etc.

  • @uhaveachode1 Indeed, KOTOR 2 was sinister... full of intrigues and strange, dark events in the world where the enemies strike from the shadows and out of the unknown corners of the galaxy rather than any ostensible foe.

  • @Lordmaster36 Not to mention discovering where the true enemies are...

  • @uhaveachode1 Although... KotOR 2 is still one of my favourite games, I still believe the first KotOR had more of a 'Star Wars' feel to it :\

  • @uhaveachode1 Yeah. KotOR 1 was based on the original trilogy, especially IV, where KOTOR 2 was based on Star Wars as a whole.

  • omg i was just a small little 6th grader when this came out..........now im a senior in high school thts it im playing both games starting now.l

  • @MrFizzyninja123 XD I played this when I was eight. I was five when it came out.

  • When i first played KOTOR 2, I disliked it. It was too dark and just not as black and white or colorful as the first games. Several years later, I now understand the game. I now appreciate its gray approach and I now love the effort they put in to the philosophy of the force. Too bad Lucasarts decided to rush this game out, idiots.

  • this might as well be a separate series... everything about it is original, the stroy line, the weapons, the ships, the music... but it retains the same star wars theme and same concepts that made it famous.

Its an excellent game, im amazed it hasn't continued on, making a 3rd game. Lucas Arts could have made a ton of money off of it.

  • @shadyguy999 Actually my friend, they are making the most amazing MMO star wars game yet! I'm sure you have heard of it if you are a fan of star wars. It's called Star wars: The Old Republic. It is going to take place after the 2 Kotor and there is the whole story line behind it that puts the 2 kotor games in the histroy of what the MMO will be. Go to this website and you will know everything, to classes you can play as, to ships you can fly, to the planets you can visit. It is "similar" to WOW.

  • What ever happened to Great Star Wars Games?

    Kotor(Great!)->Kotor2(Okay)->MMO TOR(Seriously?)

    Battlefront(Great!)->Battlefront2(Awesome)->(Stopped)

    Republic Commando(BEST)->(Stopped)

    Lego Star Wars(Good)->LSTW2(Better)->LSTW3(Okay?)

Why are the best Star Wars stopped and the once that is good continue????

  • @Thesefragus129 You forgot the legendary Dark forces sagas five epic games (first ones to let player to choose between light and dark)

  • @Thesefragus129

MMO TOR looks promising. Remember, Bioware has yet to fail and I doubt TOR will.

    @MJSpiritual

    @Hippohateszealots

Try the TSLRCM and HotOR mods if you haven't.

  • @ZetsubouMFZB Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2.... (Sonic RPG to, but let's not get into that)

  • @uninterestingentity

I've heard DA2 was average, but Mass Effect 2?

Sonic RPG had 75%, so it can't be all bad.

If you haven't yet, try the TSLCRM and HotOR mods for KotOR II. Really expands on the story with restored content.

  • @ZetsubouMFZB Mass Effect 2 had an atrocious plot, 85% fetch and recruit missions, I really can't stand Shepard on any level as he/she always comes off as a self-righteous douchebag. (and they constantly have every single character go on and on about how awesome Shepard is, ugh) Some of the characters were downright stupid (ugghhh Jack)

And yes, I've played KotoR 2 with those mods (as it is meant to be), it's my favorite RPG of all time :)

  • @uninterestingentity

I actually found Jack to be a very interesting character. Reminds me a little of Juhani but more broken and scar(r)ed. Aren't most rpg's fetch missions anyways? KotOR II, you had to go through 4 planets before you had your full crew. The plot isn't "atrocious" and I fail to see how Shepard is a "self-righteous douchebag". Then again, my shep was paragade.

  • @ZetsubouMFZB The plot is atrocious in that during the same time that supposedly millions of humans are being taken, Shepard is out to deal with Jack's daddy issues for supposed 'loyalty' that ties into the game about as subtle and logically as a fucking kangaroo on ski's.

KotoR II had an overarching plot that made sense, you were gathering the Jedi Masters to learn more about yourself and the Sith threat, in Mass Effect 2 you go resolve your team's psychological issues for no apparent reason.

  • @uninterestingentity

Never really considered the loyalty missions part of the main plot. They always seemed like side quests to me. That seems like a small problem rather than a game killer. Really it's a problem of the whole genre, your main character does tedious tasks while the main threat is still out there. Jack didn't have the daddy issues. The "loyalty" system seemed like an attempt to replicate Obsidian's influence system.

Still the game is hardly disappointing.

  • @ZetsubouMFZB They are side-missions in a sense, but they make up like half the game and you can do 90% of them without any pressure whatsoever, 'loyalty' doesn't even equate to them being disloyal, not it just screws with some background stats which makes another team-member die because a certain one is not 'loyal'.

I know she didn't have daddy issues but I just use that to refer to the game's quite shallow attempts psychological issues and atrocious dialogue for Jack in general.

  • @uninterestingentity

I actually like Jack's dialogue, just wish she would wear some armor in fights. I mean yes, decent casual design, but firefights should be suicide wearing nothing but tattoos.

Anyways, while those are issues, it's still really isn't game killing. The combat and dialogue are still fun while its universe is still diverse and interesting (except the Asari, damn male nerd appeasement).

At least ME3 will not have a loyalty system and a smaller crew.

  • @ZetsubouMFZB From what I gather ME3 will still have the same rather crappy TPS gameplay and character pokémon will get replaced with race pokémon but hey, I still hope they surprise me, I mean I'm not expecting a KotoR II or PS:T as far as dialogue, characters and plot is concerned, but ultra-badass-super-better-than-human Shepard's alien pokémon sex-adventure is just something I can't stand.

  • @uninterestingentity

I actually enjoy the TPS game play. Dialogue, characters, and the overall plot is fine but Shepard is a Gary Sue.

  • @ZetsubouMFZB The game is disappointing because it proves that Bioware is regressing in terms of choice, dialog and overall storyline. The idiotic 'humans are soooo special' shit gets old fast, as does the relentless Shepard praising, I can not for the life of me relate to a character that's pretty much viewed to be perfect by literally everyone.

In most games side-quests make sense because they deal with some other urgent issue, or have rewards which the MC can use, in ME2 this is not the case

  • They couldve did KOTOR 2 better. The Sith Lords were really badass, especially the moment you realize the most powerful one was at your side the entire time. However, they needed to work on the levels more. I hated Paragus because it was so friggen boring. Then you get captured on Telos where you spend MORE time. Then right when you think it's time to advance the plot, there is no guidance. I mean, in KOTOR 1, The Endar Spire was fun, Taris was amazing, and Dantooine gave you the guidance.

  • @TheAwesomeDarkNinja Yeah, agreed.

Such a shame their development time was enormously reduced.

They even stated in a post-release interview that with all the deleted content (2 planets, a full end game, more unique companion characters like a Devaronian, etc.) would've even surpassed the 1st Kotor. :/

Such a shame they didn't include all of that in a patch or DLC. :S

  • @TheAwesomeDarkNinja Meh, Peragus would've worked as a horror type section (think Dead Space), the whole idea of the entire station dead and you finding out who was responsible was kinda good (it was worked out pretty well to, add some more darkness, few flickering lights and cut out the padding and it's a decent intro)

  • @uninterestingentity I agree. That would've been pretty cool.

  • I was so happy the day I found out SWTOR was a MMO, because it will be never ending old republic content.

  • Anyone who hasn't heard, go to the page deadlystream . com

This is the home page of the mod TSLRCM. It improves the game soooo much. It restores lost content, completes the storyline etc.

You can read more on the page.

    Btw, trailer for the mod:

    watch?v=8rOBUChvxp8

    and another:

    watch?v=Nh3N1qXg9bU

  • Best game music ever. It's so dark, desperate, mysterious... Jedi Order has fallen into nothingness.

  • redoing both game for xbox360 sounds good.and they can add to the kotor2 storyline.you call tell that they did not finish it.

  • my problem with KotOR 2 is that it felt more like a Star Wars NOVEL, where KotOR 1 felt more like a Star Wars FILM.

  • the beginning sounds like the godfather LOL

  • How ironic: Kotor 2 was a story that introduced the concept of "wounds in the Force" and how terrible they are. Taking into account all the content that was cut, it feels like the game itself is wounded and we have all felt it and understood how terrible it is...

  • @MJSpiritual That's not ironic, that's coincidental.

  • @themanclaw2 No, I believe that's quite ironic.

  • @DarthSkittlesIsback It would be ironic if it was something like the concept of the "The force made whole" but the game's content was cut. One action has to contradict another in order for it to be irony.

  • @MJSpiritual How much cool stuff was cut?

  • @SegaUnited Too much. The Droid planet, your companions on Malachor V, and a whole lot of good dialogue.

  • @MJSpiritual Droid Planet? Malachor V companions? ......... Only thing ive seen is like Carth and Bastila being in acouple cut scenes. Theres a whole storys worth of crap that was cut wasent there? Like a whole other planet! I demad a directors cut of this game!!!

  • @SegaUnited Amen now you know why we're all pissed off, its criminal how much content was cut. If you have the game on PC you can replace some of the lost content through modding but if you have it on console your screwed.

  • @MJSpiritual I acually have th PC, tell me whats possible to restore, cause just like I said they have pretty much cut out a whole story worth of stuff. I found the droid planet BTW. Playing as HK for the whoel time sounds awesome!

  • @SegaUnited Go to knights of the old republic filefront, it has a large collection of mods to pick and choose from.

  • @MJSpiritual Im on it as we speak... 0_0 So much stuff.... For the next game eaither we get Kotor 3 or remake of 2. The MMo is... Meh.

Imma make myself look like Revan :D

  • @SegaUnited nhilius>revan

  • @SegaUnited Unless you played the MMO, you need to be quiet.

  • @surrender127 I have, its ok.

  • @SegaUnited sure, testing. Most testing is just pvp class balance and bug fixing.

  • @MJSpiritual It doesn't "feel" wounded, it is wounded, I could Barely understand what happened at the end in my first ten playthroughs, but when I got RCM I finally got ALL the pieces togheter

  • @MJSpiritual Omg.... that must have been the whole point!

  • @MJSpiritual wow. That is a very insightful comment. Quite accurate too...

  • why was it bad?

  • well...there are hundreds of mods to put content back into the game...and if you spend time for about 15 min putting mods in kotor 2...it's actually better than 1

  • @MJSpiritual go and kill yourself or at least cut your balls so that there will never be fucked up things like you , that game is pure epicness , it has its mistakes , but it is 12309812409830294810897234987 times better than the shit we have today . And that is a FACT my friend !

  • I hate how fans are always hating at the company for not giving them what they want. Not everyone wants the same thing and not everyone has played KOTOR II. Otherwise, they would go out of business.

  • eugh Old Republic looks like it's gonna be a real letdown, doesn't deserve to share a name with these two amazing games.

  • I goddamn hate Lucasarts , Kotor is THE best Star Wars game of all time (2nd the Jedi Knight Series) , why the hell make a MMO (they could of done a MMO after Kotor 3 ...)?!

And now they are killing the hope for Kotor 3 by making a book on the story of what happend to Revan and the Exile .

Still i'm going to buy TOR (LOL)

  • Guys, The Old Republic is not really a direct sequel to the KOTOR franchise. It's not KOTOR, don't expect it to be KOTOR.

  • @NostalgicSince2005 I think that it can still be done. I think it's great that they're stepping into new water, and with a great IP to back it up, I can see them pulling off something great.

  • @NostalgicSince2005 what if it's a distraction (i really hope or experiment)

  • Music from Kotor 2 is the best music of this type what im hear. Better than everything, rock, classic, metal etc. etc. I love the music when u have the start window. I must have the full version!

  • Dear lucas arts,

Please would youi perhaps consider making a film of the Kotor 1 & 2 storyline. Please could it be an animated film, as i beleive that 'realism' would ruin it.

    Thanking you,

    FlakesAndCakes

  • I'm sorry guys...but kotor 2 > kotor 1. Kotor 1 was an amazing game. But this one just...fits right. The music is just epic and flows with it. Don't take it the wrong way, i LOVE kotor 1 but love this better.

  • I love the bit from 2:25 til end! masterpiece!

  • That song remind me the Bastila's theme ! So calm and peaceful !

  • This tune is sooo good, it makes you think your next step, never knowing what will happen next, it gives you hope and then takes it all

  • if the Force was God, that makes Kreia either the AntiChrist or the ultimate athiest. take your pic.

  • @mysteriousssstranger She wouldn't be an Atheist, she acknowledges the existence of the force, and it's will.

If we're going to make this analogy, she would hate the concept of any all-powerfull being manipulating the world and it's people.

  • @mysteriousssstranger Nah, the Exile is more of an anti-christ. She could've been the absolute end of the force.

  • I hope this soundtrack will be in SWTOR! :D

  • The amazing thing about the style used for this game's soundtrack is the way it sounds like John Williams. It just fits perfectly into the "Star Wars sound" that John created with the film scores. Don't get me wrong, KOTOR I had a great soundtrack, too, but this one just seems to be more closely connected to the films.

  • @bcrace0625 Totally agree. Mark Griskey did an amazing job.

  • @bcrace0625 You're absolutely right. Specially at 0:35, that sound is in the Star Wars theme at the start, + in the Rahm Kota theme.

    Star Wars soundtrack's rule!

  • Oh my God, yes yes yes YES! This is exactly how I feel about the music in KOTOR!
