I've been trying to learn this song, and I've gotten to the picking section without much problem but once I started picking the section it seemed as if either the A string is too high or the D string too low... I don't know what the issue is but if you could help me that would be brilliant... You play the song wonderfully as well, sounds as if you deviated a little from the tab, but it sounds better that way

@DrunkenBearCo Make sure you are using a low 4th (A) string. Sounds like maybe you have the high 4th string on your ukulele.

What is that constant tapping sound? It's like you're wearing a ring that keeps gently hitting the wood when you strum. It's very distracting. Beautiful tune though :)

@womby28 The action on this particular instrument was very low and what you are hearing is both my thumb and index fingers hitting the edges of the fretboard. Listening back to it just now and it is a little annoying.

Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but are you using a special tuning, or is it the standard GCEA tuning? Also, I'm assuming you're using a low G string.

The tuning is up a whole step to ADF#B with a low A string. You can play the same chord shapes in GCEA tuning and it will just sound one step lower in pitch.

Hi, I changed my tuning into ADF#B, but the low A string is really loose and it sounds strange..did I tune it wrong?

Yep, you have to get a different string for the low tuning. Get a nylon classical guitar string of gauge .040 and that should work for you.
