I think the 505 is an exelent gear covering satriani. I used to have a zoom 1010 but really didn´t work like 505. Hope you still got it. The flangeres in the tone are just perfect.....

yes. i used 'power tab' and 'guitar pro'

you need to purchase the software to run the tabs on but they are very acurate and you can play along with the tabs by ear. you can also slow the tabs down for speed training build..

hey dude how do u get a pick harmonic whenever u want? when i hold a pick where just the tip is sticking out i get a harmonic sometimes even though i didnt mean to do one..... so how do i play normally and do harmonics when i want?

i don't use that "pinch with thumb" technique mate. if i want a certain note to scream i simply pick the string normal but the end knuckle of my little finger touch the same string i'm picking. so there'l be an inch so gap between your pick and your lil finger knuckle. the lil finger HAS to come away from the string the same time as the pick. thats what i do anyways, it never fails and i never miss. as far as i know i made it up lol

Nice, Actually thought you were faking at first, till I heard the mistakes. Seems to be some difference in the attack on some notes, to legato in some places. I think if you add more right had "expression" you will get way better. Remember your right hand is playing the music too. Looks like it's not "feeling it" as much as it possibly could. Hope that is helpful.

I think the tab book is just wrong. Joe has always played it in 10th position. The other night when I saw him play it, he even talked about playing it sitting down in a chair in the studio when he recorded the part. It doesn't matter, though--whatever you prefer. Crushing Day is one of my favorite Satch tunes to play also.

Oh...one other thing. The crazy sweep between the G maj and F maj (again, the tab is wrong on this one) is a G min arp--G, Bb, D--starting on the 10th fret A string.

if your talking about the squeely type noise, its called a 'harmonic pinch' i think...do a search for it on youtube there are lessons on how to do them, although they are hard to do, but once you get it, its all good.

it stays in perfect tune mate. i can use the bar like a mad man and i don't even have to adjust the fine tuning screws! no the pick ups are fine, why would they sell it with bad pick ups? unless your hearing is that sensitive, otherwise i can hit an open note, go and make a cup of tea, and when i come back it's still ringing. treat yourself to one mate.
