I just went to a great Springsteen concert and I and my friends were about the only people there who wasn't a meathead moron who wouldn't understand a Springsteen lyric if someone drew pictures for them. Bunch of retarded shithead hicks pounding beers and farting while bellowing "Bruce!" Best concert I've ever been to.

yeah, and bruce hates it when they do that. i read in an article by nick hornby (i think it was him), who interviewed springsteen, said that he now hands out rules of conduct for his solo performances. you'd be surprised at how many songwriters do this when not playing with their band. (Jeff Tweedy from Wilco, for example).
