  • Its a shame that castlevania shyed away from the realistic look of their videogames and traded it for the faggy ass anime look.......whoever made the desision on that needs to be fucking shot for ruining one of the best gaming series ever....

  • I'm playing SC4 on the Virtual Console for the first time and I have trouble jumping on the green platform in 0:34 but after watching this video, I now know what to do. You have to jump quickly am I right?

  • @krisfrosz133 Yup, it's all about jumping at the exact moment you first touch the platform. Wait to long and it'll spin on you. There are only a few tricky jumps in this game, and this is one.

  • @NICKREAPER316 actually in CastleVania: Harmony of Despair (HD) julius belmont can whip in 8 directions and it can grapple on metal joints just like simon... and he can doble jump!

  • @sonicfanatic4949 What did I just bloody say...It lags like that even on the console. It's more than the SNES could process. Much like Gradius III, playin on the console will result in a shitload of slowdown whenever there's a lot of enemies shooting at you. Same bloody thing.

  • I CAN NOT get past the green platforms at :34. Can NOT do it. The middle one flips the very nanosecond that Simon lands on it, I try to jump but it doesn't even give half a fair chance at jumping.

  • @gaoutlaw haha, exactly the reason I was watching this video. you have to keep spamming the jump button before landing and you will glitch jump to the next platform. really unfair :)

    If you are playing on the Wii there is a bit of controller lag that does make these jumps a little more difficult. When I was a kid I couldn't get past that jump at 0:48 for quite some time... though that was mostly because I had just gotten to that part and needed to return the game to the video store.

  • I love this level mainly because of the theme, the boss is moderately challenging until u figure him out...then he is easy as hell.

  • You have to get the double shot, then the tripple shot. See the roman number 3 in the top right of the screen? Thats what you need.

  • @bjkeatingisdead It's called "Rotating Room." Circle of the Moon has a remix of this song called "Clockwork Mansion."

  • @ProudLikaAGod Jump as soon as you land on the platform. It will still move, however you should be able to jump off of it regardless.

  • I just got to level 4 today and guess where i'm stuck at.Still this is a great game and this level looks awesome I can't wait till I get to the rotating tunnel.

  • Yeah it's really fun especially when you finally make it all the way to end after hours of trying with barely any life left and you almost got the boss beat then he gets one lucky hit and kills you.Then you have to start the entire hellish level over AGAIN! I really hate that level.

  • That spinning Medusa-Head room was were I always used to die. Since I haven't played on this in forever that's where I've left off.

  • Last time I played this level, I won it with 0lives left, 1 bar left on my energy and 8 seconds left before times up. If that wasn't a dodged bullet, I don't know what one is.

  • This level is so trippy. You Go through a rotating room there's a 3-d cilindar background starting at 2:28 and there' a bunch of levitating blocks......I love this game! :)

    Interesting fact - the golem king boss of this level is called Koronot, which is Ton o' rok backwards lol

  • That golem king certainly has a freaky 3-D like effect. I practically shat seeing it the 1st time. Awesome game. It introduced me to Castlevania and I have been a major fan ever since.

  • lol yeah every now and then, he'll catch me at an odd moment, and for some reason I'll really struggle with him.....usually when I die and lose my cross right before fighting him...so I try not to do that to often!...XD

  • I love the music and gameplay of castlevania 4. some of the stuff that you had to do had me on the edge of my seat though, like the chandalier jump and the dungeon level.

  • I like this stage, especially because of the track. It's great opposed to the awful goldchamber hymn, that one is gay as hell and rightfully forgotten(still a fag-favorite, so I didn't post my opinion _there_ lest they are provoked).

  • if you noticed, this track for the level has a remix in COTM. yes i know alot of tracks are remixed for several games, but the cotm and SCV4 verson don't really sound different
