How do you make the machine?

@thejavee98 Try and watch "homemade votton candy-machine 2" it shows the important part. If you make that you can just mount it in a drilling machine and make somekind of protection screen around it all - the sreen doesn't need to be all fancy it just have to catch the cotton candy:)

@alinatheboob123 take a tin can, cut it in halves, drill a hole in the bottom, but a bolt in there and secure it with two nuts, then make small holes in the sides (with a nail and a hammer) of the can, but the bolt with the can in a drillingmachine, and you are going:) (just remember to put up a screen around it:S)

easier just to go buy a mjachine. also- you scraping that pan is screwing it up. never use metal spoons in pans! good way to fuck it up unless your rich and can afford new pots every time.l thats what wooden spoons are for! jeees

@iloveXH558 a machine is expensive and i just built this for fun not for the cotton-candy. and you are wrong about the pan its only teflon-coated pans which take damage from scraping. this is just a normal steel pan...

i use pure (no water) normal sugar or grape sugar (grape sugar is best because it melts easyer and i wont burn)

i use normal sugar, but grape sugar (or a mixture of normal and grape sugar) melts faster and doest get burnt so easy. (of cause you can use real cotton candy sugar but its expensive)

I use an old drilling machine to propel it, and it´s working great. on most drilling-maachines you can also ajust the speed. you need to take of the center piece and clean it with lots of hot water. when the plastic is too disgusting I trow it away, and make something new.

the spinning thing i am pouring the melted sugar into, is made out of the bottom of a can with small holes in the sides (the holes are made with a hammer and a nail). i am not heating the machine.
