I worked it '83-'84 as an attendant (Court Dancer). Nice to see some fellow Disney "alums" on here. Fun memories!

I think this was my first ELP in 87 -- I was a canopy carrier -- from 1988 to 93 I did court dancer.

I was so happy to find this footage. During the 1987 run of the ELP I was a cast member and with no way to track it, I was either one of the royal mice in front of cinderella's carraige or one of the seven dwarfs. (except goofy, that person is actually shorter than the other six) Our roles changed each night. So terrific to see this after all these years!!

I loved finding this video. If this is truely the 1987 run, I am in this parade. I have no idea which part I might have played during this tape, but it was either one of the royal mice in front of Cinderella, or any of the six dwarfs other than dopey, (his wearer was actually a shorter person) I was a cast member in the ELP for 1987's entire run. Thanks, this was terrific to see!!

@heatherknc Hello MSEP cast member! Maybe you can help me solve a mystery. I have always insisted that in WDW the Cinderella float was NOT the pumpkin, but rather the full carriage, with silver, etc. but clearly here it is the pumpkin. Wasn't it ever the other one?

This one was coming out of the gate by the Emporium.

Oh, okay. That's right. At WDW, the floats come out of a gate opposite to where they would come out at Disneyland. Isn't that correct? So that means you were situated on the corner by the Train Station, weren't you?

If you are facing the castle I was sitting on the right corner curb where The Walt Disney Story was.

You are correct LSG. Up until about '91 (was it, any ex-CM's help me here), all parades at MK "stepped off" from Main Street, except during filmings. I think in the early 90's they started running them in both directions, but I was gone by then so don't remember the exact date.

Where was the parade originaing from during this performance? Town Square or Frontierland?

Right out of the gate by the Emporium

@Littlescienceguy the nightime parades have pretty much traveled Town Square to Fronteirland (I think '88 was the only time it went theother way although during that year it started in Fantasyland for some reasin. The 3:00 parade keeps flipping it's route from time to time
