I'll preface this by saying I'm a huge fan of them both, of the Odd Couple (Film and TV).... NOW, this whole scene, and a good portion of the film, is out of character for Felix. He would NOT curse like that. He wouldn't have left a suitcase behind in the 1st place, he's too anal.

And, cars DO NOT explode when they crash... and certainly not like that w/ some sky rocket shooting out of it!!!

They're a great team, Grmpy Old Men, Out to Sea etc., but this film is bad, expt. 4 a couple scenes

It's hard to say something bad about these two with all the good work they're done over the years but this movie was a HUGE failure in my opinion...especially the cursing parts...definitely out of place for Felix. If anybody wants to see a TRUE Odd Couple II just watch the very short sequence they gave us in Grumpier Old Men when John Gustufson has to move in with Max for a little while. The sandwich under the couch cushion is CLASSIC!

I"ve seen scenes of this (Odd Cpl 2) and it just makes me sad... Kinda takes away from the first one because it's up to your imagination how things worked out for them. I looked up critics opinions of O.C.2 and it's pretty brutal, mostly. Thanks for the support coconut!

Jack Lemmon & Walter Matthau are hilarious in their final pairing The Odd Couple II. The legacy lives on for example Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly in Step Brothers they're a lot more like those 2 today absolutely funny.
