As much as i love every memeber in CC i think they should fucking get over this A standard/G# shit tuning and go back to the old days, atleast maybe i can start to hear some of the riffs instead of blurrs of noise fucking my face. They were heavy enough back in the day just tuning down to D#. I dont know why they feel like to limit their selves to sound heavy by tuning to shitty ass G#.

that's what i love about the corpse albums. especially the ones rutan produced. they all have a great vibe to them, great energy. you can simulate some stuff with pro tools.. but it loses the integrity of the music. and they didn't compromise any of that on this record at all, you can tell. it's a great album.

Using protools is just the recording program. They used microphones, instead of plugging directly into the mixer/program.. which makes it natural, or "acoustic", and equalizing it from there of course to get the brutal sound and such (although, with their amps.. they dont need much for EQ lol they have amazing sound) but thats what they meant. Microphones are used to record, in a sound room I would imagine - not directly plugged in for a digital album (like The Wretched Spawn)

Sorry to disagree but they're pushing the limits of the so called loudness war. Play "Blutchered at birth" and hear the dynamics. Put this album and it sounds like a brickwall, almost plain. It's the trend, I enjoy the album but I'd lke to hear a more "natural" sound.

hmm no, i cant agree with you there, i think maybe why you think george is ''tired'' because, his singing is not as fast on kill and the wretched spawn i believe. I got the cd when it was releashed and listened allmost non stop now, and i dont think it's rushed at all. The instruments sounds so good, only one note, the drum sound have been better on earlier albums but for the guitar, bass and vocal part it's the best i've heard till now.
