@shadowgun29fan: Basically, you just go backwards in the dark. A hill, a curve and then you stop while the track flips and then you go down the big hill. That's just from memory (and it's dark), so it's probably not a completely accurate description. But it's close.

@teddybear281995: You'll love this ride! It's awesome! Usually, lightning is the thing that stops rides from going. I'm not sure if they stop rides if it rains really hard, but I know I've been on rides before during light rain. Have fun! I'm going back this summer, too. :-)

@teddybear281995 I rode this same ride in particular in the heaviest rain I've ever felt in my life, it had just started raining when we were in line about to get on, and they sent us on ahead. Usually though if it is persistent lightning and thunder they'll shut the ride down temporarily. In Florida the weather is really awesome. Hot of course in the summer and it may rain but it was fine while we were there.

Well, it can vary, but the times I've been there during that time it's been pleasant enough for T-shirts during the day and jackets at night.

That's hard to answer. I love both coasters, but they are very different IMHO. No inversions on EE, no reverse on RnR.

When I went on this ride it was raining and everyone was all screaming cause they saw a tornado about 15 miles into the distance, so they stopped the ride and evacuated us quickly, and gave us free tickets to the animal kingdom!!!!!!lol

I remember when I went in May '08, they had writing in the sky that said that. I've seen a few videos of WDW where the have the same writing in the sky too. Do you think they hire somebody to do that on some days?

I only get the serious butterflies when you go backward, obviously down a hill (the part of the video that's dark and I'm screaming my head off). But that's just me. I don't get the same feeling when you do the drop after the Yeti shadow. Still, it's one of my most favorite rides at Disney.

i went on expedition everest like 7 times in a row or so and on the last one when we got to the brojen track it stopped and we had to be evacuated down the LONG trip of stairs and they turned on all the lights i looked so much different

When you see it, you're facing forward. You start the ride facing forward, you stop, go backward, stop again and see a projection of the Yeti, and then go forward again under the big Yeti.

No loop. You do go backward, which is what was going on in the dark and all the screaming.

Yeah, there used to be a skywriter who frequently flew above WDW and wrote religious messages. That one in the video said "Jesus loves you lots." I think the flight rules changed recently and that he doesn't do it anymore. Could be wrong though.

He still flys up and does the skywriting every once in a while now. WDW always had a restricted fly zone, the skywriter actually flew outside of WDW to make the etchings in the sky. But it could be seen through all of Kissimmee and Orlando.
